Matrix went above and beyond all expectations for our move. Can’t recommend them enough. Anthony was helpful and explained the process thoroughly. Despite a few hiccups on our part, the team managed to resolve them quickly without fuss.
All of my expectations were met.
Couldn’t fault them and would strongly recommend.

These guys are mustard. Literally cradle to grave, they got the quote spot on and when we messed them around a bit on the day of moving they were calm and dealt with a very stressed family in a professional manner. Highly recommend. Matt and Anthony are the best movers we have used and we have relocated 6 times.

We came across Matrix by a friends recommendation. Alex, Brian and Mark were fantastic from start to finish. We were anxious about our grand piano being moved but Alex put us at ease from day one and delivered our pride and joy in perfect condition. Charged a lot of money to perform the move, which was then just subcontracted out.

I don't have issue with contractors but they were not removal people: they were just a bunch of guys with a van. They individually did an alright job but the whole thing felt unprofessional. When they arrived they also pressured me to perform the move in one day instead of the two days that had been organised.

To make things worse though, I requested only a single item be professionally wrapped/packed by them: this is the only item that was then damaged during the move. I've since claimed on the insurance for this damage and Matrix has just outright lied about the method of packaging on the item.

This company does not care about your move and it's pretty obvious they make a significant profit off of each one by subcontracting to the lowest bidder.

I would never use this company again and I highly recommend avoiding them.

UPDATE: It's very obvious now that every response to a complaint here on Trustpilot from Matrix is just a misleading set of excuses. Nothing stated below in the response is true (for example, the insurance company actually agreed my TV was damaged but the policy did not cover certain kinds of cosmetic damage).

Don't trust this company, they are absolute full of it.

Absolutely awesome service from Matt and the boys at Matrix. Totally dedicated to what they do and willing to go that extra mile without even being asked. If you're looking for professionals then don't even hesitate. Will use them again in January and not even going for another quote elsewhere. Highly recommended.

The team at Matrix did an amazing job from start to finish. We were nervous at first about booking a company to pack our house, not just the move. This is something we had not done before. I’m so glad we did, Matrix made our move so much easier. They took care during the packing and even took apart our furniture and put it back together again in our new home. Very impressed and I would recommend them again in a heart beat. Well done Matrix

Still waiting for Matrix to ask how our move went - but their interest stopped once they had our money - in advance of the move.
When you choose a removal firm (we paid some £12k to Matrix eventually, against a quote of £8k) you expect them to do the work. But they sub-contracted it, without asking us, to a firm we’d never heard of. The guys were lovely, though none was a native English speaker, so communications were difficult - garden and garage were interchangeable for example. Their pre-appointment claim that they had experience of moving pianos was irrelevant - the guys they subcontracted to admitted to they’d never done it before so we agreed with the guys to stop trying - and have had to contract with ANO to sort that, for another £1k, rather than risk them dropping it. Matrix only concern at this was that we wouldn’t ask for a rebate of the fees they’d charged for doing what they couldn’t. Appalling, unprofessional, damaging. Suggest you avoid them. We would never consider them again.

Can't thank Matt enough, for organising our move (house of 6 and dogs). His removal team, lead by Nisser, were totally and utterly incredible. Over the full 5 days with us, they were charming, helpful, hardworking, polite and showed tenacity with a strong can-do attitude – absolutely wonderful. It was an absolute pleasure (well tough too!!) but they made the whole process doable and for that we are both hugely grateful. Nissar is a great leader – leads by complete example and has a great rapport with the rest of the team who respect him. Arthur was also such fantastic right-hand man – he did his best to stop us helping and nothing was too difficult for him. You have a great team there – one that you should be truly proud of. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing and everything was in the right place – THANK YOU – a true feat!!

Matrix moved us out of our house partly to storage and partly to a temporary home. The move was done to a fairly tight schedule and was done very well. In order to finish the job on schedule, at one time there were 7 people working in the house. All of the team were very polite and patient, and very hard-working. The team leader, Lee, was outstanding in his organizational skills and patience, with a calm manner which really helps during a stressful house move. Arrol was the other person who was there every day and equally was very cheerful, polite and very hardworking. A good move by a great team.

Thank you to Nissar and his team handled our house move so brilliantly. We used the packing service which was awesome - so fast and efficient and on moving day they were so organised we were early to our new house. They couldn't have been more helpful, courteous, and charming. I would highly recommend them.

We cannot thank Matrix enough for stepping in and getting us moved again. Fantastic job, the removal guys were brilliant on the day and could not have been more helpful. Second time we have used Matrix, and the service was again great, we would not hesitate to recommend to family/friends.
