It locks you out without warning if time exceeds
I’m extremely disappointed with Lock & Enjoy and their lack of transparency.
I used the service to leave keys for guests arriving late at night. Nowhere during the booking process was it clearly stated that if the booking time expires, the access codes are automatically blocked. The only information provided was that extra time would be charged, which strongly implies continued access — not a total lockout.
Due to unavoidable travel delays, my guests arrived after the booked time, in the middle of the night, and the codes simply did not work. The helpline was unable to help because they could not locate the booking without the email address used — which my guests obviously did not have. They also couldn’t reach me because I was asleep.
As a result, my guests were left stranded at night and had to book a hotel.
This is a terrible system for key handovers, especially for travellers, where delays are common. If codes are disabled after the booking time, this should be made explicitly and clearly visible before booking, not hidden or implied otherwise. A simple warning would have avoided this entire situation.
Very stressful, very poorly designed, and not fit for purpose if you’re using it to hand over keys to guests. I would not recommend this service unless you are absolutely certain there will be no delays — which is unrealistic when travelling.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. We have already replied to your email, but we believe it is also important to clarify the situation here.
For security and proper service management reasons, access to the lockers is available only during the booked reservation period. Once that time ends, access codes are automatically deactivated. This is not a penalty nor an unexpected restriction — it is simply how a time-based service operates.
It is somewhat surprising that someone who manages tourist accommodations would be shocked that a service booked for a limited time functions for that exact limited time. It would be equivalent to a guest booking one night in your accommodation and then being upset the next day when informed that checkout time has arrived. The concept is precisely the same.
Throughout the booking process and afterwards, we send several informational emails clearly explaining how the service works. Additionally, a reminder email is sent one hour before the reservation ends, including a direct button to extend the booking if needed. This information is neither hidden nor implied — it is communicated repeatedly to prevent exactly this kind of situation.
We understand that travel delays can occur, which is precisely why we recommend booking with enough margin or extending the reservation in advance. Expecting an automated system to provide unlimited access without having reserved that time is simply not realistic.
That said, if you regularly use lockers for key handovers, we encourage you to contact our commercial department at comercial@lockandenjoy.com. We offer professional agreements, for a minimal monthly fee, that prevent locker expiration and make this process far more convenient for recurring or professional use.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our service, always within the framework of responsible use and the clearly stated booking conditions.

Cheap lockers
Cheap lockers, not far away from the station and easy too lock & unlock. Also gives you a good indication to choose the right locker. Ours was big enough to store handluggage for 2 people.

A simple and easy to use process to access the building and then the individual lockers. Booking was also simple. Location was close to the train station as described.
Some people following us couldn't get the codes to work to access the building, although they seemed to be a bit earlier than the booked time. Maybe that timing aspect for entry could be clearer in the instructions?
