Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 74 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People experienced massive delivery delays lasting several months, often waiting endlessly without receiving their items, tracking numbers, or proper updates. Customers frequently complained about terrible customer service, noting that staff members were unresponsive to emails and impossible to reach by phone. Though some customers experienced frustrating delivery issues, a few people mentioned that the honey itself is exceptionally delicious and sweet. Reviewers also noted that when orders finally arrive, the products are securely wrapped and presented in lovely little bottles. A small group of buyers stated they were ultimately happy with the sweet treats despite the long wait times.

I ordered in May- worth the wait

I ordered in May. I received my order in August. However, during the wait I was constantly updated on the status. I knew why it was delayed, I knew when my honey was being infused, bottled and shipped. I did not cancel because I really wanted to try the honey and see if it was good. IT IS! I'm so glad I waited. According to the emails and updates, they have made some upgrades to expedite the order to delivery process. I hope not so much that it effects the quality of the honey because it really is a good product!

Thank you for sticking with us and, especially, for giving us another chance. We completely understand that the wait was frustrating.

We would clarify one thing, though: the updates we sent weren't intended as excuses. We wanted customers to know what was happening with their orders. Our infused honey is a custom, small-batch product that takes time to properly infuse before it can be bottled and shipped. This year's unusually high demand created a backlog that made that process take much longer than normal, and we offered refunds to customers who understandably didn't want to wait.

We're especially happy to hear you felt the honey was **“exceptional tasting”** once it arrived. That's exactly why we won't rush the infusion process or sacrifice the quality of the finished product.

And the fact that you decided to order again after that long wait means a great deal to our small family farm. Thank you for your patience and for giving us another opportunity to earn your business.

The honey is absolutely delicious but it usually takes at least 3 months for delivery. Placed an order in June and got an email saying April orders just shipped out. This is my third and probably last order.

Thank you for the compliment about our honey, and we’re glad you’ve enjoyed it enough to order from us three times.

We do want to clarify that our infused honey is a custom, small-batch product that takes time to make. We don't mass-produce finished bottles and leave them sitting on a warehouse shelf waiting for an order. Our honey goes through the infusion process before it is bottled, packaged, and shipped.

This year, demand was much greater than anticipated, which unfortunately extended that process well beyond our normal turnaround time. We have been very transparent about the backlog, sending regular email updates and posting our current order status on our website and social media.

We completely understand that some customers prefer a product that can ship immediately. That's simply not how our infused honey is made. We choose to take the time necessary to produce the product properly, and we believe that commitment to quality is part of the reason you described the honey as “absolutely delicious.”

Lack of Communication

I have ordered honey before and it was a great experience (great honey, fast delivery with no issues)
Ordered honey April 2026, received 1 email stating infused honey takes longer
So please be patient.
No communication after that. Sent 2 follow up emails asking about the delivery status. Crickets. Nothing.
I then get emails..get ready your order is on its way. It eventually got here but as a paying customer we ask for due diligence when we are asking about our product.

Thank you for ordering from us again, and we're glad your order arrived and that you've enjoyed our honey in the past.

We do want to clarify that our infused honey is a custom, small-batch product. We don't simply pull finished bottles off a warehouse shelf. Each batch must go through the infusion process before it can be bottled, packaged, and shipped, and that process takes time. This year, the unusually high volume of orders made that wait much longer than normal.

We also regularly sent order-status emails and posted updates on our website and social media throughout the backlog. As your review mentions, you received both an email explaining the longer infusion time and later emails regarding your shipment.

Where we fell short was responding directly to your two individual emails, and we understand your frustration with that. We were receiving an extraordinary number of customer inquiries while also working to produce and ship orders. We appreciate your patience and, most importantly, we're glad your honey made it to you.

New review

I want to recind my original review. I ordered in May, not March as I'd originally thought. I did receive my order when they stated that they were working on May orders. Although they were slow to fill & ship orders. I DID receive my honey.

This place is a scam!! DO NOT order from them! I ordered in March of 2026 it's August and they're saying that all March orders have shipped and they're working on shipping April!! WRONG!! I didn't receive my order or any correspondence saying it has shipped.😡 This business is a 100% SCAM!!!

We understand being upset about an order that has taken far longer than expected, but calling our family farm a “100% scam” is simply not accurate.

We have been in business for more than a decade and have served tens of thousands of customers. We experienced an unprecedented backlog this year, and we have been very open about it. We regularly send order-status emails and post updates on our website and social media explaining exactly which months are being bottled and shipped.

If your March order has not arrived even though March orders have been completed, then we need to look at your specific order to determine what happened. Please call our farm at **724-747-7855** so we can locate the order and resolve the issue.

We accept responsibility for the delays, and we understand the frustration they caused. But a delayed or missing order is something we can investigate and correct; it does not make our business a scam.

We absolutely understand that waiting this long for an order is frustrating, and we don't expect anyone to be happy about the delay. However, we do want to clarify that we have not been silent about what has been happening.

We have consistently sent order-status emails and posted updates on our website and social media explaining the delays and where we are in the fulfillment process. We have tried very hard to keep our customers informed while our small family farm works through an unprecedented volume of orders.

We appreciate your patience, and we also appreciate the opportunity to provide some context for others reading this review. The delay was much longer than we wanted, but we have continued producing, bottling, and shipping orders every day while keeping customers updated along the way.

We understand the frustration with the communication delays, and we agree that we needed to do better in that area. We have since added customer service help to improve response times by both email and phone.

We are glad that you did receive your honey. This year brought an unexpectedly large volume of orders that created a significant backlog, but we continued making and shipping every order rather than compromising the quality of our small-batch honey.

We certainly understand that the wait was frustrating, but we don't believe it is fair to say that all of the negative reviews are true. We are a real, small family farm that experienced very real growing pains, and we have worked extremely hard to fulfill our commitments to our customers.

Terrible Customer Service - Order placed 4/20

Order placed 4/20. Credit card charged same day. As of 7/23/26, order has not been received. No emails are being answered other than a generic "order is probably in infusing stage". No phone communication. TERRIBLE customer service.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We completely understand your frustration with the wait.

Your order was placed on April 20, after the unprecedented surge in orders we experienced during the first week of March. Unfortunately, the backlog from that period extended well into April and May, affecting orders placed after the initial surge.

Regarding communication, we want to clarify that we did respond to your emails with updates on your order's production stage. While those responses may have seemed generic, they reflected the actual status of your order. Because each batch of our infused honey is handcrafted and made to order, we could only provide updates based on where it was in the production process.

We also acknowledge that we fell short in responding to customers as quickly as we should have during this period. That experience led us to hire a dedicated customer service representative, add production staff, and continue expanding our operation so we can provide the level of service our customers deserve.

We respectfully disagree with the statement that there was "no phone communication." Throughout this period, we encouraged customers to call us directly because our phone line often provided the fastest and most accurate updates. While we understand that your experience did not meet your expectations, we never stopped communicating or working through orders.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience as we worked through an unprecedented situation. We remain committed to earning back the trust of our customers by improving both our production capacity and customer service.

I know I left a review somewhere.
They should NOT send emails asking folks to leave feedback. Customer service is atrocious.
What I find AMAZING however is that they cant answer an email or a phone call and yet they can respond to all the reviews here.
16 weeks people...16 weeks to get my order. Ordered in March and didnt receive till July. That is after several unanswered emails and several phone calls that were answered by some AI voice with not response.
I understand emergencies and illness but be a little bit more professional and hire someone to address those issues. You lost several customers by now I am sure

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand why you were frustrated with the delay, and we sincerely apologize that your order took approximately 16 weeks to arrive.

During the first week of March, we received approximately the same number of orders that we had received during the entire previous year. At the same time, my wife, Rasi, was undergoing chemotherapy treatments, creating challenges unlike anything we had experienced in over a decade of business. Those circumstances are an explanation—not an excuse—and we recognize that our communication did not meet the standard our customers deserved.

Regarding your comments about email and phone support, we agree that we needed to do better. During the height of the backlog, we simply did not have enough staff to keep up with both production and the overwhelming volume of calls and emails. Rather than shutting down production to answer messages, we focused on fulfilling orders while posting regular updates on our website, shipping information page, Facebook, and through weekly emails. Since then, we've hired a dedicated customer service representative and additional production staff to ensure this situation does not happen again.

As for responding to reviews, those responses are written after the backlog began improving and are intended to provide context for future customers who may read them. Responding publicly to reviews does not require the same time and resources as investigating individual orders, and we believe it's important to acknowledge customer concerns rather than leave them unanswered.

We're sorry that your experience caused you to lose confidence in our company. We appreciate that you waited for your order and gave us the opportunity to fulfill it, and we sincerely hope the improvements we've made will restore the level of service our customers expect from Huckle Bee Farms.

Ordered March 23rd 2026

Ordered March 23rd 2026. It is now July 10th 2026. Almost 4 months and nothing. Customer service via email terrible standard response and forget about calling! Unfortunately as good as the honey is I'm no longer going to order from them. I understand the process takes time which they do tell you....but the poor customer service was the deal breaker and the going on 4 months with no product. Even ordering the tea took 3 months! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry that we let you down.

Your order, placed on March 23, was part of the unprecedented surge we experienced during the first week of March. In just one week, we received approximately the same number of orders that we had received during the entire previous year. At the same time, my wife, Rasi, was undergoing chemotherapy treatments, creating challenges unlike anything we had experienced in over a decade of business.

We understand that none of that changes the fact that you waited nearly four months. That is not the experience we want any customer to have.

We also acknowledge your concerns about customer service. During the height of the backlog, we simply did not have enough staff to keep up with the extraordinary number of calls and emails while also producing orders. While we provided regular updates through our website, shipping information page, Facebook, and weekly emails, we recognize that many customers wanted more personalized communication. That feedback is fair, and we've acted on it by hiring a dedicated customer service representative and expanding our production team.

We're grateful that you recognized the quality of both our honey and our tea, but we're disappointed that our service overshadowed the products themselves. We know that exceptional products must be matched by exceptional customer service, and we fell short during this difficult period.

Although we understand your decision not to order again, we sincerely appreciate that you gave our family farm your business. The lessons from this experience have resulted in significant improvements to our operation, and we remain committed to providing both the quality products and customer service our customers deserve.

HORRIBLE COMPANY

After weeks of waiting, I emailed customer service weekly. I even requested a refund and to cancel order. Over 3 months after I ordered, I did not receive refund but did receive shipping information. Package arrived damaged. Three bottles were not properly sealed, there was leakage down the sides of bottles and some in package. The have been unresponsive, and I have been resending to customer service nearly 30 days. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're very sorry that your order and the condition in which it arrived did not meet your expectations.

First, we want to apologize for the delay. During the first week of March, we experienced an unprecedented surge in orders while my wife, Rasi, was undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Those events created a backlog that affected many orders, and we recognize that the wait was much longer than it should have been.

We also understand your frustration regarding your refund request. Once an order enters the final stages of production and shipping, there are times when it cannot be stopped before it leaves our facility. We recognize that better communication surrounding that process would have been helpful.

Regarding the damaged package, we sincerely apologize. Despite our best efforts to package every order securely, shipping carriers can occasionally damage packages in transit. We do, however, stand behind our products. If three bottles arrived leaking, did you have the opportunity to call us and request replacements? We are always willing to replace products that are damaged during shipping, and we would have been happy to make that right.

We were also disappointed to read that you felt your follow-up emails went unanswered. During the height of the backlog, we did not respond to emails as quickly as we should have, and we've since hired a dedicated customer service representative to ensure customers receive more timely assistance.

We never want a customer to feel that their concerns are being ignored. If you're still willing, we'd appreciate the opportunity to review your case one more time and resolve the issue appropriately.

We sincerely apologize that this experience did not reflect the level of quality or service we strive to provide.

Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your frustration with the delay and sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations.

Your order, placed on April 17, was impacted by the unprecedented backlog that began with the extraordinary surge in orders during the first week of March. We know that doesn't make the wait any less frustrating, but we do want to assure you that your order has been actively moving through our handcrafted infusion and bottling process.

Regarding communication, we recognize that we fell behind on responding to emails during that period, and we've taken steps to correct that by hiring a dedicated customer service representative and expanding our production staff.

We also want to clarify that customers were not left without information. Throughout the production process, order status updates were available in each customer's account, showing where their order was in production, such as **Infusing**, **Bottling**, or **Preparing to Ship**. In addition, we posted regular updates on our website, shipping information page, Facebook, and through weekly emails so customers could follow our progress as we worked through the backlog.

You mentioned that emails were not answered. Did you also have an opportunity to call us directly? Throughout the backlog, we encouraged customers to contact us by phone because it was often the fastest way to receive real-time updates and assistance.

If your order has not yet shipped and you still wish to cancel, please call us directly. If it has already entered the shipping process, we'll gladly review your order with you and discuss the available options.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and apologize that your experience did not reflect the level of service we strive to provide.

Do not buy from hucklebee Farms

I would give zero stars placed an order on March 29, 2026. They charge the card that day for the two jars of honey. Today is June 27, 2026 almost 90 days later and all it says is sitting in the infusion process- quite ridiculous. Emails are general responses with all sorts of excuses. The credit card should NEVER be charged until items shipped. I am not sure I will ever see the honey. I will never order for them again. Please save your money. Do not order from this company. You are better off going to local farmers markets. Lack of regard for any customer service whatsoever. I may never get the honey, but my card was charged immediately. I definitely think they’re a scam.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand why waiting nearly 90 days was frustrating, and we sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations.

Your order, placed on March 29, was part of the unprecedented backlog created by the extraordinary surge in orders we experienced during the first week of March. At the same time, my wife, Rasi, was undergoing chemotherapy treatments, creating challenges unlike anything we had experienced in over a decade of business. While those circumstances explain the delay, we understand they do not lessen your frustration.

We'd also like to address a few points for future customers reading this review. Shopify Payments captures payment at the time an order is placed. As merchants, we do not have the ability to delay charging a customer's card until an order ships. This is how the Shopify payment platform operates and is disclosed during checkout.

Regarding the "Infusing" status, that was not a placeholder or excuse. We provide customers with production updates through their customer account so they can see where their order is in the process. In addition, we posted weekly updates through email, our website, our shipping information page, and Facebook as we worked through the backlog.

We respectfully disagree with the statement that we are a scam. A scam is a business that takes money without intending to deliver a product. Throughout this challenging period, we continued producing and shipping thousands of handcrafted orders every week. Customers who requested cancellations before their orders entered the shipping process received refunds, and orders continued moving through production until fulfilled.

We recognize that our customer service did not meet the standard we expect of ourselves. That's why we've hired a dedicated customer service representative, expanded our production team, and are building a larger production facility to better serve our customers going forward.

We appreciate that you gave our family farm the opportunity to earn your business, and we're sorry your experience fell short of your expectations.

Unreliable

I placed 2 orders in February. I did not receive them until April. They say allow 2-4 weeks, but the delivery time was more like 8 weeks.
We loved the honey, and I ordered another bottle as a Thank you gift. I didn't need it right away so I thought it would be fine.
I ordered early in April, and it is now the end of June.
I have emailed and messaged them daily, and no response.
I finally got a refund from PayPal.

Thank you for your feedback and for giving us another opportunity after your first order.

We're glad to hear that you and the recipient enjoyed our honey. At the same time, we're truly sorry that the delay on your second order led to such a disappointing experience.

We do want to clarify one important point for anyone reading this review. After you requested to cancel your April order, we honored that request and canceled it. Your refund was processed, which is why PayPal was able to return your funds. We would never intentionally keep both a customer's money and their order.

Regarding communication, we recognize that we fell behind responding to emails during the unprecedented backlog we experienced this spring. That is why we've since hired a dedicated customer service representative and expanded our production team to better serve our customers.

While we understand your frustration with the delays, we appreciate that you also recognized the quality of our products. We regret that our customer service during this difficult period overshadowed your overall experience with our family farm.

We wish you all the best, and we're sorry we weren't able to provide the experience you deserved.

Ordered like everyone else months ago

Ordered like everyone else back in March we are approaching July, i have never heard of such. I am so glad I didn't order this for an event. They really should not take online orders unless its in-stock. And to me the tone of the people answering phones are oh well type of attitude. They have to do better. Probally my last order. As long as people have waited they should throw in some free samples for the inconvience. At this rate we should get it by next winter.

If you actually receive your order, you will love it!

Let me start this review by saying their Espresso flavored honey is soooo good!!!! I found it in a store near my home and decided to try it. I liked it so much that I placed an online order on March 18th for several different varieties of honey. Unfortunately, as of June 20th, I had still not received the order. During that time, I received two general emails from Huckle Bee Farms addressing the length of time orders in general were taking, one on 04/06 and one on 04/14, the first stating “I wanted to personally reach out with an update on your order placed between March 1st – March 31st.
We’re happy to share that we’ve made strong progress—orders are now actively moving through production, with bottling underway and shipments going out as they are completed. Your order is in progress and you should be receiving it soon!”
The second email stated “Hi there,
I wanted to personally reach out regarding your order placed between March 1st – March 31st.
First, thank you. Your support truly means everything to our small family farm.
We know the wait has been longer than expected, and I sincerely apologize for that. Over the past couple of months, we experienced a backlog due to a combination of high order volume, operational upgrades, and a personal family health situation that required my time and attention.
While this has been a challenging time for our family, we have also been working hard behind the scenes to move forward and improve.
Here’s where things stand:
• Your honey is in the final stages of infusion or already moving into bottling
• Orders are being completed daily as we work through the backlog
• We’ve added a new filling station and expanded our production space to increase capacity
Most importantly, your order is in progress and will be going out as soon as possible as we continue catching up.
Our current estimated shipping timeframe is about 30–40 days while we finish clearing the remaining backlog.
On May 5th I called the company and was told my order would take 4-5 more weeks to ship. On June 20th I called again and was told 30-40 more days to ship, at which point I cancelled my order. No apologies from the person I spoke to on the phone, no thank you for giving us the opportunity, just an “ok, bye.” When looking on their social media pages, you can see where there are MANY hidden comments, I’m assuming from people who had pretty much the same experience I did, otherwise why hide the comments? I understand there were some family health issues they were dealing with and for that I’m sorry but my thought would then be they should A) stop taking more orders and B) take the initiative and cancel the orders they were unable to fulfill. All that to say, if you find Huckle Bee Farms honey in a store, by all means, BUY IT, it’s that good!! However I would not recommend ordering online from this business because you will literally wait months and only receive excuses until YOU end up getting annoyed and canceling your order.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever. They take your money right away then it takes months to get your order. I still don’t have my product and I ordered in February, it’s now June 23. Customer service: no answer when calling, automated return messages when using email to ask where my order is, product says ready to ship, label created by usps and stuck there under waiting product from Honey Bee’s.
I’m happy I chose to order a sample size to see if I liked the taste of the product but I never expected to wait months to “taste it”.
Constant email about excuses for supply issues or family challenges. I worked for 42 years and never, ever, have I heard so many excuses.
Will never order again.
