I have found hire up communication with me to be supportive helpful and professional.
The frustrating things about Hire up and the platform are, there does not seem to be as many support opportunities as hoped in my chosen area.
When responding to clients posts for support and writing short covering letters to go with response, you don’t get. Any type of responses of communication and left in the dark. Even if a client has another party managing their need requests.
Finally so much of the posts for support are for gardening or house cleaning for an hour or a vacate clean with short time frames.
I feel this support needs to firstly have more information to it and pictures so the hire upper can ascertain roughly how long it will take.
And I also feel this sort of assistance is better suited to. Platform like Airtasker and would be cheaper.

Hireup Team appears to be professional and attentive. The staff i have had the pleasure of speaking to have been wonderful.
The lack of work advertised on their platform for support workers to apply for is where this is lacking.
There is no way a support worker could solely rely on this platform for a steady income.

Our Provider Relationship Manager is awesome, there at a phone call and able to help with the whole process even at short notice. Best thing we did was register with Hireup for when we get stuck providing a service. Workers who have supported us have been professional and reliable.

I like the reminder note a day before my shift
But I would still like a ID lanyard I know we have a ID on our profile but when working in my clients apparent s I don’t carry my phone you know when putting out rubbish or collecting mail or parking. I get stopped by other residents who are you how did you get in so I would love an ID Lanyard please

I am an employee and can highly recommend Hireup to anyone wanting to work with people living with disabilities. Hireup value their employees and give recognition at employment milestones. Rang Hire Up twice for help with a situation with the hire up app. I get told it’s not our problem or don’t want to raise your concern to the appropriate team basically passing the buck. The customer service on the phone is appalling I’m asking for help and according to the hire up staff member who you’re speaking with the help is non exist and seem they don’t care either.

flexible supports that focus on what you need, rather than what others think you need, excellent online platform, saves me the paperwork etc having to employ my own staff. Like the transparency on wages and back up support to support workers if required. Have been with hire up for nearly 4 years and its really made a difference in being able to truly choose my own supports. Support workers who are allied health students seem to work really well for me
