I bought a handpan online from HandpanWorld in Munich. The pan was supposed to be delivered within a maximum of four months, but after seven months it still hadn't arrived. I therefore chose to select a different handpan, based on a YouTube video. A completely different handpan was delivered. The handpan I had chosen turned out to no longer be manufactured, but it was still listed on the HandpanWorld website. After a lot of arguing and miscommunication, I was able to return this pan. I wanted my money back—it involved €2,360—but HandpanWorld did not agree to this because the pan I initially ordered was custom-made. I selected a different handpan for the second time, and it was delivered within four weeks. After a few weeks, I had the pan examined by a Dutch handpan company because I suspected something was wrong. It turned out that the pan had been in the HandpanWorld store for a very long time and had often been played by potential customers. As a result, two tones were not pure. After further investigation and contact with the manufacturer, it turned out that this pan had not been manufactured for a very long time. After eight months, emailing at least 30 times due to all the miscommunication and threats of a lawsuit, and reminders I received for pans I had already returned, I was completely fed up. This company has absolutely no idea what they are doing.
EDIT: The actual item is really nice.
They did offer €20 refund which I’m happy with. I still think the packaging should have been done much better especially for an international delivery!

The handpan stand is lovely (and expensive) but the packaging is awful! With an International shipment, so that is expensive too,I would have expected a better and more secure packaging but the box came damaged. The item is ok but it has a rough edge where it was exposed. Contacted them and they only offered €25 credit and then they reduced it to €20 when just the postage is already £20.
Not happy at all!!!

Customer service at Handpan.World was fantastic. I spoke with them on the phone twice, received warm and professional treatment each time, and got all my questions answered with clear next steps after seeking advice on their extensive handpan range.
The only drawback preventing five stars was the lengthy delivery time from purchase to arrival in Finland, coupled with insufficient updates on the shipment's status and estimated timeline, which felt disappointing for such an expensive purchase. Better tracking and proactive communication would have elevated the experience significantly.
This aside, the outstanding service and selection still make Handpan.World a top recommendation for handpan enthusiasts.
Really happy with my handpan chord cards! It really helps me evolve in my playing and also allows me to easily play with other musicians.
