Originally logged in to create the Custom Revision Timetable - and like other reviewers found that after hours of trying it was just not fit for use and glitchy - so ditched it.
Have found the other resources on here eg Eng Lit characters & flash cards a great asset though - but just logged in to download some more and nothing is showing in GCSE Resources even though am properly logged in... VERY FRUSTRATING
This tool has gone from being a useful and time-saving way of organising revision to a complete and utter waste of time. Disappointingly, whereas the customer service used to be half-decent (when part of The Student Room), it is now non-existent. No sooner has all the data been entered, the tool now deletes everything. Pen and paper is far more reliable.
I really loved this free website where people uploaded their free resources and now they charge for it, which is really annoying like its not even their work they are charging for!!!
Spent hours on hours filling all of my 23 exams in. Then when I went back to edit the times on most of my exams, the edit button wasn't working, I would edit the time and press 'save and continue' and then when I checked the exam, the time was the same as before I edited it so then I would have to delete that exam block and make a new block, refill all the info like the date, time, how many hours I wanted to revise etc.
I've lost count of how many hours I've wasted on this useless website.
To add to the previously mentioned issue, when i had FINALLY filled in all my exams, I scrolled down only to find find that some of my exams weren't showing up in the study session boxes so I went back to the 'edit exams' tab to check that I hadn't missed out any of my exams. Surely enough they were all there, so why weren't they showing in the boxes below?
This last problem was by far the biggest and makes this website completely useless. After filling in the information and fiddling around with the website to get all my exams showing in the study session boxes, I could finally press 'generate timetable' feeling so relieved. I thought the website would generate a revision timetable for me that took into account how many hours I wanted to spend revising each subject and then spread it out over my 1 month exam period. Boy oh boy was I wrong. It crammed half the revision into the first week, and about a quarter into the 2nd week, with some days only having 1 hour of revision whilst most other days had 6 hours. Then the 3rd and 4th weeks had little to no revision with most days only having 1 or no hours of revision. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention. you know how I said that some of my exams weren't showing in the boxes. well I was going to overlook it until I realised the 5 of my 23 exams weren't showing in the actual timetable itself so I again checked the 'edit timetable' icon incase it had accidentally deleted some of my exams but all 23 of my exams were there but it wasn't showing in the timetable.
Please don't make the same mistake I did. Create your own timetable from scratch or use a different timetable generator. Please don't waste your precious time on this useless website.
Useless buggy web site. Don't waste your time with it.
Absolutely horrible. On the surface it seems great but as you attempt to add exams to different time slots it does not always add them. If there is a conflicting commitment task it will simply remove the exam or put it at the wrong time. When adding revision times the icons dont always line up and move to the days next to where I want it to go. For the custom option of you want to view your activities, it is limited to 2010-2019. Since it is 2024 I can't view my activites at a custom size. If you select a white fill for your revision topic, you can't see where the block ends as it is the same colour as the background.
Simply a bad experience and would not recommend.
**update. I opened my revision planner the next day and found that two weeks worth of revision plans have just randomly deleted.
Very detailed, helpful revision timetable. Haven't explored the rest of the site, but the timetable is good
It's a good tool unless you'd actually like it to keep ahold of your timetable an not wipe it unexpectedly.
awful- I kept changing the times and it kept setting them to midnight and wouldn't print clearly ...
So bad , doesn't even work properly , I press repeat weekly and it doesnt repeat , I make a new class and it doesnt appear at the bottom.Don't waste your time.
