We engaged HireFraction and worked with two engineers at 50% capacity. Unfortunately, our experience was highly disappointing. The engineers frequently missed scheduled meetings and were difficult to reach. Progress on tasks was extremely slow, with tickets often marked as “in progress” for extended periods without meaningful updates or completion.

Overall, the amount of work actually delivered was minimal. Communication and accountability were lacking, and there were concerns about transparency in how work was being reported.

Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

These guys are happy to get in way over their head. I'm an experienced founder who hired them to do a 3-part project that was supposed to take 2 months. After more than 2 months they were unable to complete even 1 of the 3 parts.

With 2 fractional developers on the project, velocity is moving 3x faster compared to our prior overseas firm. It's also great working with a US-based team.

Fraction helped build our technical capacity with 1 fractional CTO with 20+ years of experience and 1 fraction full-stack developer with 7+ years of experience. Their years of experience and stints with Fortune 500 companies showed not only their technical competency but also their ability to move quickly on our application rewrite.

Fraction has been incredible! As a GM, I don't have the experience of a developer, but I need to make decisions for our company based on development plans. Fraction provides not only experts who do quality work, in a timely manner, at rates we can handle, but they are also so great at working with non-technical staff, like me! Their insight, guidance, and patience have been invaluable.

We are currently working with them to rebuild our app and are all excited to see the finished product and how we can grow from there.

The team is fantastic and has held my hand through this process...which is what I needed! I don't know a ton about tech and the processes needed....I just have a vision for my product. They've been fantastic!
