I am just writing in short

I am just writing in short, in 2021 Dec i made purchase of furniture 8K from brick they offered me this shity card for equal payments. I started making equal payments i didn't know until Dec 2024 they change due dates every single month and they started charging me 30% rate of interest. They never communicated me or i neve received anything saying promotional offer is expired and they keep going to add interest. Till the time i was keep paying EMI every month. Until i realized in Dec 2024 they took more than 5K as interest from me. When i called them they just waived additional $2500 interest which they was about to charge me. this company is really big scam. I am personally requesting everyone for your purchases choice other options there are way better companies who are transparent and provide better customer service this company is just big scammers... you can check on google so many people have similar experiences. Don't fall for this scamming company

Lack of Transparency, Excessive Penalties, and Incorrect Information

I used Flexiti services for financing a purchase and diligently paid off my balance, including interest, throughout the promotional period. By the end of the period, I had only $359.72 remaining, which I paid 7 days after the deadline.

However, instead of applying reasonable late charges, Flexiti imposed a penalty of $1015.15, which appears to include previously paid interest. This amounts to double charging, which goes against fair business practices and violates consumer rights.

Additionally, the statement provided by Flexiti indicated an incorrect payment deadline (November 11 instead of the actual November 9), which misled me about the timing of my final payment. Furthermore, the statement outlined certain late fee terms, but the penalties applied do not align with what was stated. This inconsistency creates confusion and erodes trust.

When I reached out to Flexiti for clarification and adjustments, I did not receive a transparent or satisfactory response. Instead, I was met with an insistence on paying these unfair penalties.

As a result, I have filed a complaint with the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) to report these practices. Additionally, I plan to share my experience on all available platforms associated with Flexiti, including:
• Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
• Review sites (Trustpilot, Better Business Bureau).
• Pages of partner companies and retailers working with Flexiti.

The issues I experienced include:
1. Non-transparent credit terms.
2. Misleading information in statements about payment deadlines and late fees.
3. Excessive and unfair penalties that do not align with the agreement terms.

I hope my review helps other consumers be cautious when dealing with Flexiti. Companies must prioritize transparency and fairness, and my experience with Flexiti has been deeply disappointing.

When i signed on flexiti I was sent a…

When i signed on flexiti I was sent a card with the regular interest of other cards then they sent me a wave card. I thought it was just a new logo card so went shopping they charged 150 admin fee plus my interest changed to 45.9%. I was given a reason which is not true in my point of view that its because brick changed shortly after I got my card blah blah blah. My sister got herald 2 yrs later and they did the same thing to her. So they are not honest they lie to the customers approve them at a much lower interest rate then Jack it up without even telling you.

AVOID!

AVOID!
They will say 0 interest, send you a statement with a current amount with fake values, and then charge you interest when you pay less than what you should have.
When you call customer support they treat you badly, just saying: "you owe us, pay us now". Very aggressive, shady business.

Avoid if you want to avoid surprises.

Very bad service

Very bad service, very rude. They charge annual fee even though you cancelled your card & paid the full amount owed. They still want the annual fee & keep you waiting on the phone until the line goes dead or they just hang up on you. Terrible, terrible service!!

Stay away from Flexiti

I financed a 5-ish grand purchase from Visions Electronics with Flexiti. They offered me a 0% interest financing as long as I paid the full balance before 6 months. When I set up my automatic payments I made a mistake and set up the last payment for a date 15 days after the term. At the time I had paid off 85% of my principal balance.
2 months later I noticed a $680 charge on my account. I called their customer service to understand what was it about, a lady explained to me saying I agreed to the loan terms and they can't negotiate the interest charges or do anything about it, with a very condescending attitude.

Flexiti had zero interest in notifying me that I was about to lose my promotional loan benefits. They will prey on your mistakes and are only after your money.

Stay away from them, and do business with companies that care for their customers

Their customer service is full of shit specially the credit limit department they are total ash hole and hipocrite and you can’t trust them. They say two things with you. The other agent say yes and they make you wait for like half hour because they are waitiing for the supervisor to make a decision and they make you call again when you call again they said they can’t, they make you believe you they play games, its unethical it’s unprofessional way of doing it. Don’t make business with this guys. Never get finance with Flexiti because thier credit limit department sucks. Who ever is reading this fired them all that works on that department. Do something about this flexiti. Actually if you don’t believe me check the conversation is recorded the time is 5:30pmto 6:05pm then the next two calls like 6:30ish to 7pm.

Don’t waste your time dealing with this Company…

I would never recommend their financing services. We purchased a fridge from Leon’s under 12-month no interest plan. They never discussed to customers that insurance charges will be added monthly to your total purchase. They send your monthly statement by email showing zero amount due. However your total financed amount gets bigger and bigger as they add insurance charges. It’s a total scam!

The bills won't stop, even when account is paid and closed.

I set up for a 6 month payment plan and paid it off in 3. 2 months after my term ended I'm being charged insurance. I paid it . Closed the account and just got another bill. What is this scam of a company. How are they able to have your credit rating but send you bills for nothing. Run and don't use them.

Stay away

I purchased chairs from Wayfair and opted into the 24 month financing plan with Flexiti. They charged me $120. Fine, except that the chairs arrived and they were TERRIBLE quality, so I returned them within days. Wayfair charged a return delivery fee (also insane to me as the product they are selling is brutal), so the full amount was not refunded to my flexiti card. I called Flexiti multiple times to have the $120 refunded as I had returned the chairs. I must have called 3 or 4 times and even after I covered the delivery charge, the agent STILL would not refund my $120 telling me that the only person who could do so was the person I spoke to on the phone the last time I had called. They said to expect a call within 24 hrs (which I missed as I was at work). I have since cleared the card and will deactivate as I am sick of the back and forth. It shouldn't be this complicated. They owe me $120.

My experience with them is their very trying

My experience with them is their very poor customer service. The first agent hung up on me, when I explained I did not need a new password but ensure the "user" I was to use since for some reason their system allowed me to change it, and the p/w I had took me a while to make it. Since, the agent only wanted to provide me a new pw, he hung up.
I called again and again, always busy. Finally, turned that was my email address the user id...and I learned an over payment of $204 was done. Flexiti does not send checks back.
They send me an email for refunds. where I have to sign an agreement to share my info with this technology co.
Next choose my bank from a list of banks. Provide them with my debit card # and my PASSWORD to the account.
I thought I had it wrong, their agent by now annoyed with me I was holding him up -he confirmed what I was reading true. And let me go.
I phoned my bank, they were the one that did the overpayment.
I asked them to re-call the payment from flexiti and to do so was a fee.
To cancel Flexiti from the list of payee a fee...
Why?
I had asked them to pay until September and they paid October too...
My printer was not reading my pc, as I had not more paper, couldn't send them a void check either which was given as another option. My iphone was runnning off battery after being on the phone so much time.
Not my day.
This world is not for me anymore...

Credit score do not matter

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Tried to apply for a card, I was denied. They advertise that a 620 credit score and up Eli get you approved. My score is over 820 and I was denied as I do not meet their requirements. What do they want people with no mortgages and debt free!

Was paying my bill

Was paying my bill, it never went lower, I called in to ask why, they told me the money goes towards what needs to be paid off first. I looked nope, the amount owing what's what was owing 6 months ago, I asked about it they said they'd look into it.

Few months later, still no change, same amount owing on everything. Finally I told them, "I'm not making any payments till my amount owing is updated" they would call me to remind me I haven't paid, I'd tell them the same thing. Nothing ever was updated.

It's now in collections, I owe more than what I was allowed to borrow, and not a dent was ever made in even the first item I bought.

I was told i would not pay interest as long as my payments stayed current. I never missed even a single payment nor was i late. They charged $100s in interest each month on $3500. When i called them to see why ibwas being charged interest, i qas told i aggreed to. Which i did not. These guys commit fraud with impunity. Do not go near the crooks. They will also charge low monimum payments so if you dont pay more than the minimum, your debt principal will rise, which is illegal in canada. Call your MP. Call the ombudsman. Call the police. Let's stop these fraudsters!
