It’s first I enjoyed the safari tour this much in my life. All thanks and credit goes to Flash Mc Tours and their dedicated team.

The experience I felt at Flash Mc Tours was great. I felt safe and create great memories with them. Their staff helped and provided each service I was looking for.

From start to finish, everything was seamless and thoughtful. I got exceptional care, hidden gems away from the crowd and memories I will treasure forever with my friends.

Refund agreed in writing but never paid – exercise extreme caution

An absolute scammer sending fake confirmations and stopped answering our calls. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN AND HIS COMPANY!

We had a deeply concerning experience with Africa Flash MC Tours and Travels, operated by Peter Macharia.

In 2024, we paid a deposit of USD 3,300 for a safari planned for 2025. The trip was later mutually agreed to be postponed to 2026. Following prolonged non-responsiveness and lack of planning, on 14 November 2025 the operator confirmed in writing that he was unable to proceed and that the deposit would be refunded.

That refund has not been made.

What followed were repeated assurances that payment was imminent, multiple missed deadlines (including 20 December 2025), and long periods of silence. When asked for proof of payment, the only document ever provided was a bank transfer application form, not confirmation of a completed transfer. No SWIFT confirmation, transaction reference, or debit confirmation has ever been produced.

As of today, the funds remain outstanding. The matter has now been escalated and is being formally documented.

We are sharing this experience so other travellers can make informed decisions. Anyone considering booking should ensure payments and refunds are supported by clear, independently verifiable banking proof, not informal assurances.

FINAL UPDATE:
While the refund has now been received (6 January 2026), the operator’s public response does not accurately reflect our experience.

The refund was not initiated promptly following cancellation. It was only paid after repeated requests over an extended period, prolonged non-responsiveness, and escalation through formal complaints and public documentation.

For clarity, this was not a case of a routine bank delay following a timely refund. The refund stage itself occurred after months of follow-ups.

I am leaving this final update to ensure the record reflects the full context up to resolution.

We organised a custom 14 day Kenya Safari and beach trip with Peter and from the beginning he was so helpful. I asked for multiple quotes for many many different camp and hotel options and each time Peter would provide a quick response and give a breakdown on costs which made it so much easier to help decide which places we wanted to stay.

The process of payment was easy and efficient, we paid 50% deposit and the rest was paid around 1 month before the trip.

Everything about booking this trip ran so smoothly and this continued once landing in Kenya. Our drivers were always on time and so lovely. If we had any queries during our stay, Peter always responded so quick to our WhatsApp messages and was on hand to advise of times of pick ups/drop offs etc.
We had Anthony who picked us up from the airport to our hotel in Nairobi, drove us to the elephant sanctuary & giraffe Sanctuary and also made the 7hour trip dropping us off at our first camp! We stayed at two different camps within the Massai Mara region and then travelled to the coast for a beach stay returning to Narobi for one night before our flight home. The organisation from Peter was outstanding, he organised our transportation to the camps, organised our flights from the bush to the beach (which include the small safari link planes), every aspect of transport from the trip was organised by Peter and we couldn't be more grateful for his help and service.

This was our first ever trip on a safari and also to Kenya and the service from the team at Africa FlashMc could not have been better. We would definitely use them again for future trips and I would 100% recommend them.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to Peter and the entire team. This truly was a trip of a lifetime, and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you!

(p.s As we stayed in conservancies, we had specific drivers from the camps for our game drives therefore didn't have the tour guides from Africa FlashMc conducting these, hence why we haven't commented on that aspect.)

Just finished 6 days 5 nights safari tour with Flash McTours. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Parks. Trip was organized well and Peter was very helpful with the booking. Our guide Anthony was made every effort to us to see big 5 in Masai Mara and he is very knowledgeable about animals and the parks. Anthony is also very safe driver which was important to us to feel safe.
All accommodations provided a nice blend of comfort and African style which was fun.
We had lots of questions regarding Kenya and Masai tribe and Anthony was able to answer any questions we had.

Our experience was wonderful and truly recommend to anyone seeking African Safari experience. Memories we made will last a lifetime and we want to Thank you Flash MC Tours, Peter and Anthony.

We just came back from an amazing experience with Flash McTours. We did the 4-day trip to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. It was one of the most beautiful trips I’ve done in my entire life! Before the trip, the communication with Peter was great! Very quick respons, and answering all questions with the best information. Our driver, James, made our trip unforgettable. We felt very safe with him driving and he was very knowledgeable about the animals and the places in the parks where he could give us the best views. I can absolutely recommend and would go back to them anytime if I ever get the chance!

I like my travel to include a bit of everything, adventure, birding, exposure to the local flora and fauna, culture and a whole lot of light hearted fun. This safari, with Edward as our guide/driver did not disappoint. His knowledge of the animals, geography, culture was easily shared and accurate. His singing voice brought us all together in song as he shared his delightful playlist on long drives from park to park. Our vehicle was in good repair but the windows were very hard to put up and down. And I would have liked a step stool to use to get in and out of the high vehicle. Prepare yourself for the experience of a lifetime!

We had an excellent experience with Flash Motors. Peter ws always very responsive and helpful. We had wanted to also focus on birds, and Peter had said that his guide Edward was bird knowledgable. We couldn't have been happier with Edward. He is a special person, very positive, very helpful, and was indeed bird knowledgable. Overall it was a great experience!!

My wife, Iris, and I recently had the privilege of embarking on a 7-day safari adventure in Kenya and Tanzania for our honeymoon, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From start to finish, every moment felt like a scene from a nature documentary brought to life.

Many thanks to Peter for responding quickly to emails and listening to our requests during planning. The cost was very appropriate for the experiences we received. The details from picking us up at the airport in Nairobi to booking the lodging, all the way down to providing plenty of bottled water were all taken care of.

Our safari guide, James, was very knowledgeable and deeply passionate about the wildlife and ecosystem. His expertise added immeasurable value to the journey, allowing us to witness the most remarkable sights, including the several close-up opportunities with lions, leopards, elephants and more! The sheer abundance of wildlife was breathtaking—hippos, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless other species roaming freely in their natural habitat. James was also a great driver, navigating the bumpy roads to make them more smooth. He seemed to be well respected by many guides from other companies. With James, we felt as though we lucked out with one of the best in the business!

Since laws prohibit Kenyan and Tanzanian guides from crossing borders, Flash McTours contracted our Tanzanian safari adventures to another company. This transition was orchestrated very smoothly. Peter also organized our pickup at the border for our transit back to Nairobi with another great guide named Simon, who also seemed like a great guide.

The accommodations provided a perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the wilderness. Waking up to the sunrise over the savannah and falling asleep to the distant calls of the wild made each day feel like a new chapter of adventure. We stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge (Masai Mara), Kati Kati Tented Camp (Serengeti), and the Ngorongoro Farm House (Ngorongoro Crater). All three locations that Flash McTours recommended were flawless.

The cultural interactions with the Masai people were a highlight, offering a glimpse into their traditions and way of life. It added a beautiful depth to the overall experience, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the region's rich heritage. James was knowledgeable of the Masai way of life and was able to answer any questions that we had.

I cannot recommend this safari company enough to anyone seeking an authentic and mesmerizing wildlife encounter. East Africa is a treasure trove of natural beauty and biodiversity, and this journey was an unforgettable exploration of the wonders of nature.

We had a fantastic Safari with Flash MC Tours - Peter was responsive, transparent and uncomplicated during the booking process (via email) and the Safari itself exceeded expectations.

Don’t trust Africa McFlash to repay any money they might owe you. We had booked a balloon trip which was cancelled due to bad weather. Despite repeated assurances that our money should and would be refunded by Africa Mc Flash it is now 12 weeks since we left Africa and still no money from Peter. Each week Peter claims it will be, or has been, sent but to date nothing. I finally got my money back by claiming from my credit card. It is a real shame that we didn’t take more notice of similar warnings from other reviews that had a similar experience when trying to reclaim money owed.
It is particularly sad that we have had to write this review as we otherwise had a wonderful holiday. Our guide, Simon, was always on time and very friendly. He did his best to get us the best viewing spots and see everything we wanted to see. He was knowledgeable and sensitive to our needs and would stay at any one spot for as long as we wanted.
The hotels and itinerary selected by Africa Mc Flash were all of a high standard and Peter was responsive to the changes we requested in the booking phase. We needed to return to the UK quickly due to a family illness. Peter and Simon arranged our change of plans efficiently. However, money is also owed to us for this curtailment.

I travel to see things in person that are just not available in my small piece of the world. This trip was specifically to see animals in the wild that I have only been able to see in zoos. I did some research into companies that provide safari/game riding experiences. I chose Africa Flash McTours and Travel because of other reviews and the speed and quality of communication from them.
I gave them my wish list and was given two choices of tours: one ‘regular’ and the other a ‘luxury’ option. The options were accompanied by a full list of what to expect from each day. Inclusion and exclusions for each day and prices. I chose the regular option and was able to place a deposit and pay off the vacation over a few months.
The most stress inducing part of the trip was from the travel from the U.S.A to Kenya and back again. I flew in a couple days early to enjoy a full day in Nairobi. The company picked me up from my hotel on day one of the vacation, because of airline issues we had to go to the airport and pick up my luggage that did not arrive with me (ugh! Airlines). However, James (my guide) was happy and optimistic. He somehow was able to get my baggage released early and we were off to Masi Mara.
Each camp was better than the last and the food was fantastic at each. Those were perks of the trip.
The viewings were literally AWESOME. If you have heard of an animal in the area, then I think I was able to view it. James (my guide) was absolutely the best at spotting them. He was in contact with others on the savanna to be sure any animal I had not seen yet could be found. He had facts about each species and explained behaviors that we watched. Each evening James gave me an overview of the next day’s agenda.
James was more than a tour guide. He was an ambassador. Not only did he make sure I was able to view everything available, but he also explained some of the customs of the people and told me when the quality of souvenirs were below average. He accompanied me for almost everything and even made sure I ate (noting when he did not see me in the dining areas). I was given information about aggressive sales tactics and information to understand why they may be so insistent.
The last day of my trip, my flight out was early evening so there was actual time to spare. I was offered many options to fill that time. I was not expecting this as I am an American and expected the company to be through with me. Having a bit of down time before the stress of travel was a welcome relief.
This trip was more than just national parks and wild animals. Listening and watching I was able to gain a little understanding of the people.
Travelling tips to others: bring cash. You will need it. ATMs are only in towns, and you are far from them.
I do plan on going back and I will be using this company when I travel. The way they attended to details I would not have thought of was wonderful. I was kept informed every step of the journey and felt treated as a guest. This was an amazing trip, and it would not have been as exceptional without African Flash Mctours and James.

Just back from a wonderful safari with Africa Flash Mc Tours. Prior to the trip Peter communicated fast and efficiently answering many questions and accommodating any requests. The trip was exactly as we hoped, amazing local guides who were both fun and informative. We were a private family trip and they kept our teenagers engagedand interested at all times. We most definitely recommend this company if you want efficient, caring knowledgeable guides and excellent communication throughout the whole experiance.

What an amazing experience with a great tour company. The process of booking a safari was so confusing despite being a seasoned traveller. Do you book with the camps or safari companies? The simple answer is book with Africa flash Mctours. The process from start to finish was just amazing, no pushing for sales, clear on what you are paying for and what is included.

Peter is swift to respond on WhatsApp or email. Being from the UK and paying someone in Africa for a safari can be quite daunting but Peter made every effort to assure us and thank god we booked with him.

The safari vehicle arrived promptly with our Driver and guide Edward. We then met Peter before heading to the Masai mara. The jeep was brand new and better than most safari vehicles we saw in the Masai Mara. From this point on Edward literally made every effort to make our experience amazing. He was more like a friend than a guide. He’s been guiding in the Mara for over 12 years but he’s enthusiasm is like he has just started. He Never once said no to anything and I don’t think a better guide exists in Kenya. He was so knowledgable and pretty much knew every animal we came across. Better yet he had the best timing and positioning imaginable. In a 4 day tour of the Mara we managed to see what most people spend weeks looking for.

Our first game drive we saw a pack of 6 lions hunting and making a kill in-front of us. Day 2 we saw hundreds of wilder beast crossing the Mara river and some getting taken by crocs. 3rd day was just insane. we saw probably 20k wilder beast cross the river for like 3-4 hours followed by a cheetah hunting and killing a topi from start to finish. We also caught lions and hyenas hunting and taking down a wilder beast around 2 meters from our vehicle at sunset. This is just a few moments of the hundreds of animals we saw. We were also met by Peter at the end of our tour who kindly dropped us back to the airport.

We can’t thank Peter and Edward enough as our expectations were exceeded in every aspect. If you are thinking of booking a safari then don’t hesitate to book with them. The best thing about it is I feel like most tour companies coerce you into writing a review but this is the first time I’m happy to write one without anyone asking.

Thank you Peter for the joy you & your team gave my family and me for a lifetime experience of the Kenyan Safari. We will forever cherish the bountiful nature brought alive by the beautiful animals of the Savanna. The humbleness of the Kenyans we experienced is a lesson for the world in humanity. This was our third visited to the Masai Mara game reserve in twenty years and was, by far, the best, thanks, in no small part, to Africa Flash McTours & Travel.
Edward and Anthony were the best guides/spotters/drivers for our 4-day tour. They knew the animal habits/habitats and so, where to find them in the vastness of Masai Mara.
They also went out of their way to get us as close to the animals as was safely possible for memorable photos and answered all our questions about the reserve and its animals.
We were picked up from the hotel, camp sites, and other stops, on-time, and at our pre-arranged convenience.
The drives were spaced out so that we were never hurried and were able to rest between outings and meals.
As a result, we were able to see all of the “Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Rhinoceros, and Buffalos).” In addition, we saw plenty of birds, zebras, impala, gazelles, hyenas, giraffes, wild dogs, warthogs, and were lucky enough to see a cheetah in a tree with its kill and two more walking in the grass. What sights to see!

We  booked probably the best tour: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli Park, 5 night and 6 days.

We booked the tour online, and from the beginning there was a sense of reliability from the company Africa Flash McTours and Travel.
Everything that was promised was delivered more than 100%: great safari, nice car, luxurious hotels, always on time.
It was first our trip to Kenya and we did not know what expect, so the reliability and competence of the company  was very important for us, as a result   Africa Flash McTours and Travel fulfilled all our best expectations.

Our guide Simon was a great driver, an experienced knowledgeable guide. He uniquely knew where the animals were, thanks to Simon we saw all the big five animals in close proximity to us.
He knows and told us about the behavior of the animals and birds.
Simon even took us to Lake Naivasha, even though that was not part of the programme.
Moreover, Simon has  explained  us the habits and characters of local people. So all our trip we  feel ourselves comfortable and  security.

For us, this trip brought a new perspective on Kenya and Kenyan.
