Second arrangement worked well. Ty kept in touch and soon diagnosed the problem with my boiler. Very informative & efficient, thank you very much.

The ad for this company is very encouraging so I went thorough what seemed a simple process to book a slot today, I chose from 1500 - 1700. That's as far as I've got. Next step was to get a confirmation, by text, call or email I don't know which, but I received nothing. I have called the 0808 number several times & it us not answered. Do I assume my booking is made or not made? Very unsatisfactory start to what sounded like a good efficient service no hope someone does get in touch soon as it's very cold.

Fair Fix is very competitively priced…

Fair Fix is very competitively priced compared to competitors who have a call out charge and charge by the hour or part thereof.
The Fair Fix price gives peace of mind knowing the cost of the job is not going to be impacted by the time it takes to complete.

We were so impressed by the engineer

We were so impressed by the engineer. We booked yesterday and he was here well on time. Fixed the problem with a fixed price too. In the past we were with British Gas repair services, it was expensive and not very efficient in terms of booking. Would strongly recommend Fair Fix.

AVOID.

So ANGRY....Would not recommend this service to anyone. Do not believe for one minute the BS you'll hear from the engineer or the lies on their webpage Two hour time slot turns into waiting all day without even a courtesy call from either the engineer or the office to explain no show, really poor customer service. Tell you on their site fast and reliable....joke....Priced a gas valve at £235 which I bought brand new for £130. AVOID. Tyrone was fully aware of the part I was supplying which I sent him screenshot of and details and part no. seperately and was happy to fit it and he also offered to swap the filling loop which I was also supplying. The main reason for this review is the lack of communication, if you are given a Two hour window for an engineer to turn up and you've taken time out of work for this then even allowing for hold ups in traffic or a previous job over running it would be reasonable to expect a call to keep the customer informed of the delay so they could maybe use those hours more productively, re schedule, arrange for somebody else to wait in or even cancel. That would be more professional and probably wouldnt get such a negative response.

Hi Mick we have looked into this for you I can see that you did not authorise the parts for the job so no appointment should have been booked for you without this being authorised.
It looks like the engineer accidentally rescheduled an appointment for you but you should’ve known this since you did not authorise the parts to be replaced as you have stated above.
You have been quoted the trade price of the part From a national distributor link provided below.
https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/ideal-175562-gas-valve-kit/ That is the correct price for the part.

We have spoken to the engineer and the part that you are referring to is either secondhand or refurbished or Possibly even old stock.
This is a completely false review with false information and we will be asking trust pilot to remove it once we provide them with the relevant data logs from our website.

Great service

Great service - Andres came within the 2 hour time window I booked and identified and fixed the issue with my boiler within minutes. He also showed me how to resolve the issue myself should it happen again. Highly recommended!

Could not fix same day

Could not fix same day. So came back 3 days later. Found out replacement part was highly priced and it would of been cheaper to get a local repair main as job only took less than 30mins.

Hi Maggie thank you for taking the time to reply and using our service. Yes unfortunately the engineer was a little bit late getting to your property as he got held up on other jobs but I understand he did call you to confirm this and you happily rescheduled.
I’ve looked into the part that was fitted to your boiler and the trade price was actually £162 you where only charged £116.00. Please bear in mind this would’ve been a genuine part not a copy part that can be found online. Link to part fitted bellow.

Review

I got in contact with fair fix when my tenant had problems with her boiler. I spoke with someone initially who explained the procedure then was directed to the online booking system which offered me the same day appointment. The person sent was knowledgeable and experienced in the boiler system and was able to fix the boiler without the need of replacement parts. This service is outstanding efficient and I will definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for a professional efficient service to help with your boiler problems.

Very Happy with the service

Very Happy with the service. The Gas Engineer named Napolean Andrews, was so polite and dedicated to fix our boiler as soon as possible. He has to bring two parts and I like the Fairfix app that asked approval of each parts engineer bought. Fairly Fixed as the name. Very happy

Darren was a no show despite explaining…

Darren was a no show despite explaining we have disability in our family. Kept putting me off for two days (I called him) and then did not bother to turn up. Offered and suggested we could release him and find someone else, he was adamant he would come today. Would not recommend.

Congrats to Fairfix and Mohamud for the excellent job they’ve done!!!

Mohamud has done an excellent job! He’s the most trustworthy professional that I have ever came across to. When my boiler broke down, I called pimlicoplumbers.com, I was charged £120 only to be told they would have to come back to fix it... guess what? They never turned up, they prob disliked that I didn’t agree to buy a new boiler.... and informed me the cost of the repair was £690....total scammer, better to steer clear. With Fairfix, you don’t have to pay anything until your boiler is back on working, they apply a fix rate of £149 for the whole repair + the cost of parts that needs to be replaced. Mohamed has worked very hard and tried to fix first the pump and then the diverter, but only charged for the part that needed replacing. I would recommend Fairfix to anyone in urgent need of urgent fixture. They really put a smile back on my face 😄👍🏻
