I had a little problem with a release and i contacted live chat on emu bands. The problem solved in minutes. A brilliant service really helpful. Highly recommended.

Very quick response time to queries.
Easy to use website that directs you through each aspect of distribution in a comprehensive way.
Excellent value for money considering the extent of the service they provide.
Any issues or queries are dealt with at first point of contact and resolutions are fast and thorough.
I have experienced using other distributors in the past, after working with EmuBands I wouldn’t want to work with any others. Cannot recommend them enough.

So, November 2022 I decided to turn a poem I'd written 20 years ago into a Christmas song. With absolutely no musical or performing experience I decided that I was going to make this happen anyway. I reworked my poem into song and armed with just a piece of paper and a tune in my head, I booked a session in a recording studio. After 4 hours I came away, stunned, with my very own single.
My intention was to release the single on 03/11/2023 and EmuBands were recommended to me by the studio. So in May 2023 I set up the single for sale with them. I wasn't too happy with the artwork I'd done or the recording but knew I had the time to make the changes I wanted before it's official release.
In July 2023 I wanted to release the song early as a fundraiser. I contacted EmuBands and they reset my release date within a day.
Again I wrote to to ask about how to change the artwork, again the advice from EmuBands came within 24 hours.
Finally circumstances dictated that the song was no longer needed as a fundraiser and they've helped me to remove the song (for now) from purchase.
Throughout this process I've only ever dealt with one person, Gary. He's given me superb guidance and his knowledge has helped me make the absolute right decisions.
Emubands as a business offer a great service. I was stunned to find out that when I released my single with them that it went everywhere. YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, Apple, Deezer and many more including playlists.
So yes I've found the service and customer support to be exceptional and I'm looking forward to making the changes I need to my single and re-releasing it later this year with EmuBands.

Really great experience! At least one company that doesn't answer with bots, actual persons behind it that solved my doubts and show me how to get the most of my music.

EmuBands don’t know how hard it is to create music, get it mixed mastered send it to their dreadful company and they don’t help to promote said album. Bear in mind I worked with this company for 4 years and was only paid out £180. The said promotion company I used to promote music in august not may and they claim i received 360K views, failing to mention since 2019 the years I been using this company. The way they handle independent artists is unjustly. 80% of artists on Spotify have fewer than 50 monthly listeners. 60,000 tracks are released everyday. I’m an artist of 6 years. This company refuses to respond to emails with proof. I released 4 albums with them. So again avoid this company. I urge any indie artist to stay well rid.

Absolutely brilliant customer service. This site puts their artist first, and will go the extra mile to make sure that your release is done exactly as you want it.

I work in a weird part of the music industry which often means my releases have really complicated crediting information, and through talking with the artist relations team, I was able to get it out exactly as I wanted it. What's more, they don't take a penny of your royalties, and operate on a one-off payment system for each release (even if you subscribe to one of their premium memberships, and then cancel after your release, it will stay up).

What's not to love?!

The release was processed in one business day and Spotify for Artists received the release the next day. That's amazingly fast!
By far faster than any other distributor.
Also, once I sent the wrong release, I received an email from the support side for a refund. Unbelievable!
The support team is so great.
I have grown to love EmuBands.
They are Spotify preferred distributor and I will continue to use their service.

Excellent customer service, one of the deciding factors to partner with them over others

Awful customer support - I uploaded a remix but a member of their team changed the name of the song without contacting me and sent it off to DPSs also without contacting me. Completely altering my art, forcing me to have to redo my entire PR campaign.

Customer support representative was incredibly rude to me when I highlighted this to them and pretended to not understand why changing my art was an issue. Was just told that the name had to be changed (which I was fine with) and didn't acknowledge my actual issue being that the change was made without my involvement.

Offered no apology and was standoffish and purposely ignorant when I tried to explain to them the issue

Also wait time is 1-4 days but unless you pay for the top tier they will not reply to any and all e-mails for the minimum of 4 days.

EDIT:

As you can see from their reply below they don't seem to recognise that changing an artists work without consent is an issue, regardless if the change is "minor" (which is subjective). Any and all changes to work submitted to them should be okayed by the artist. Their blatant disregard to this both in the emails to me and their comment is incredibly damming.

Stay away, you are not in control of your art if you use Emubands.

I use emubands for all my music the process is very simple to understand and my music is processed on the day I choose everytime I have never had any problems it's a great company I would recommend them to anyone

As a recording artist, it's important to have a professional and courteous distribution team behind you. I've been working with the EmuBands team now since 2016. They're fantastic. Real pros. I can't recall a time when they couldn't answer my question, and solve any issue I had. Everything lands perfectly on the release date on all platforms. Bravo!

My only frustration is the time difference between Miami and Glasgow. Maybe I need to move to Scotland. ;)

I am with Emubands sind 2017ish, and they have always had excellenct support even for the tiniest of artists (like me).

Definitely the best online distributor for independent and even smaller labels. I recommend this to anyone that wants to have full rights of their music at such a low price. Their business model is very user friendly, and if you upgrade to the pro account, you have your own account manager which is absolutely fantastic. The customer service is great as well and I will forever recommend EmuBands to any artist wishing to self release music.

It’s rare these days to get such personalized service as you do with EmuBands. They offer many levels of service, all good, but you have access to more features based on your subscription level. This allows you to customize the program that works best for your situation whether value or feature rich. As a smaller artist I feel well taken care of and love that I know many of the folks there by name. Overall, they provide an excellent value at all levels of service and recommend them without reservation.

Well worth it! I have tried multiple distribution services but EmuBands take the cake. My biggest issue with previous distributors was the customer service (or lack of) but so far I have received quick and helpful responses from Emu. Plus 100% of royalties!

Love these guys. I use them to release my music and they are so quick to respond to queries, you keep 100% of your royalties and it's really competitively priced - what's not to love!

Excellent service, not only the easy and fast way to work and upload in the backoffice, but specifically the personal service (you can communicate with real people!). In this digital day and age that's a relief. I came to Emubands through a friend and would recommend to any musician anytime.

They blocked my song without providing any proof. They have confiscated my 2 months income and they are not responding to emails. They are unable to provide any documented evidence. When I wanted to enter the site, I saw that they blocked me. They blocked my access to the site. I suggest you stay away. If you don't have social media power, it's only a matter of time before they block you.
