I’ve asked Darren to paint a ceiling in my son’s bedroom with a view to see how we are getting on before committing to a bigger project. He is busy man, so it took about two months of waiting for a one day job, but the day finally arrived, I’ve taken everything out (quite an ordeal for a teenager’s bedroom). He was late, blamed the traffic, we’ve discussed the details and I then had to leave for an on-line meeting. By the time I finished (which took about 40mins), Darren was gone. The ceiling left untouched and I’ve received a message, that Darren was hoping for my understanding that he has other clients and has to go.

Other than that, a very nice guy.

We had Darren decorate our lounge and stair way, done excellent job, everything went smoothly, even after us changing our mind over paintwork, very neat and tidy worker. Felt comfortable leaving him in the house alone, would high recommend him.

Darren recently redecorated a bedroom/study. Darren is professional, tidy and unobtrusive. We are delighted with the room.

We had DY Decorating paint the entire downstairs of our house including the hallway and landing. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased. We found Darren polite, professional and prompt happy to work around us working from home. The quality of work is very high and Darren would apply as many coats as necessary to ensure an even finish. We highly recommend.

Professional service

Darren did a fantastic job on painting our kitchen/dinner. Very impressive professional service and very tidy. He has given that part of the house a new lease of life. Very pleased with it.

I would highly recommend Darren for all your decorating needs. All the work was completed to a very high standard, everything was left clean and tidy. He really is one of the best :)

Darren did an amazing job!! I cannot recommend him enough.
He came and painted most of the inside of our house and also mended some cracks, tired wood work on our door frames and stairs. In addition, he had a look at some damage to a wall outside in our carport, which was caused by bad weather and fixed it and weatherproofed it! What a great job! He is very professional, friendly and organised. He never suggested additional work on areas that really didn't need it - he was very honest which I valued (ie I thought my whole staircase needed redoing but he said the majority is in good shape which saved some money!).
The job was predicted to take 10 working days, he finished in 7! Amazing.
Also, when my 5 year old daughter came home from school, he always asked how her day was and had a chat with her.

Darren has just finished decorating our kitchen which had a lot of damage to the walls from a leak. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He was friendly, professional, hardworking and we were so pleased with the work and attention to detail. We are already planning on booking him in to do more work in the house for us!

Darren was excellent, I cannot recommend him enough. His work was brilliant and really neat, he is also so tidy. He filled and painted our exterior windows which looked terrible before he started and now look great.

We had our bathroom and hallway painted perfectly! No mess and very clean cut painting! We also had our woodwork all re glossed everywhere in the house, again amazing no more cracks in sight and looks like a new house! Extremely pleased would definitely recommend, I have already booked Darren for our next project in September!
