I got what I paid for. The price was good for ebook. It is a bit bad that I don't have a pdf of the book I got but the book was not drm-free so it's not the site's issue.

Wide selection and easy to use for expats
As an expat living in two countries at once I really appreciate how easy the process is to switch between countries. Also, I appreciate how the site respects our privacy by not asking a million personal question just to buy a book. These things run counterculture to the internet of today and hence I salute the effort.

We don't have anyone on our system with the name Evelyn McBlain.
Please chack the details of the bank transactions and then contact the company that actually is billing you.

We were unable to locate a customer on our system who has the name Evelyn McBlain.
We don't offer a subscription service. If you are being billed monthly for ebooks, it will be another company that billed you, not eBooks.com.
There are a lot of companies with the word "ebook" in their names. In particular, we have had many complaints about transactions in the name of "ebooksonline" and "ebookshelp". That's not us.
Check your credit card account (or PayPal if you paid that way) for the name of the merchant. If the merchant's name isn't exactly, and only, "EBOOKS.COM", then you'll need to contact that company.

Allow Users to Find Usable Readers for Your File Formats
Ebooks.com forces the user (at least on an Android phone) to use an utterly worthless ebookreader app which has effectively no usable search function for large books (as it is ridiculously slow) nor will it even show the page numbers that appear in the paper copy of the book.

I don’t think that you need my phone number to track an order that consists of downloading two files. I have an account for that, which has an email. You should stop hoarding personal data for no reason. Also, this feedback form doesn’t work with my ebooks.com account (?)

Requires poor software
Ebooks require Adobe Digital Editions, which doesn't show PDF properly, and is slow. It's also yet another thing to install and manage my ebooks, so I can't see everything in one place.

amazing customer service
wow, I made a blunder buying ebooks thinking I was purchasing paper books (one was for me, another was for a - now past - birthday). To cut the long story short, I sent an email, hoping for a refund - mind you, the purchase had been untouched/unopened.
Sheila from ebooks.com got back to me in, like, 10mins, and confirmed the refund.
If all companies operated like ebooks.com, there would be no need for litigation lawyers (or something along those lines, hehe). Thank you, 15 out of 10.
