I have never ordered a camera and received nothing. But my account has already been charged twice for $71.97 and once for $39.99. There is no response to my calls. I asked for the money stolen from my account to be returned, but nothing has been returned so far.
I filled out a survey to recieve a…Gereric GoPro
I filled out a survey to recieve a "free" sports camera, all I needed to do was pay $5.99 for s&h.
I started getting charges from ACTIVEAGGRESSIVEDECISI BUTLER of $71.97 on 4 different dates;
09/04/2022
10/25/2022
11/26/2022
12/28/2022
And a charge of $39.99 on 3 different dates;
11/03/2022
12/04/2022
01/06/2023
I called the number my bank provided 1-800-627-8372 and they said that I agreed to sign up for a subscription. I canceled the "supscription" and supposedly I have access to a "gift card" none of which is true. They never sent any email and I checked spam of course. Nothing.
I'm going through my bank now but theres a 60 day window on disputes, and I waited too long to get most of my money back.
Everyone
Everyone, please be aware that if you ever got some resolution to subscription fees illegally taken out of your account & you think it got resolved. IT DIDN'T. I have it set at my bank to no longer accept any withdrawals from previous company, now new one appears. After posting my fiasco on 9/5, I again have money taken out of my account, but from a different third party. 866-440-4724, now appears, under name of Dependable Steady Clothing, it is related back to the previous so called FREE gift. Talked to a Chris, who once again tells me there is no manager to talk to, nor a direct phone number to contact to make sure this does not happen again. This is outrageous.
This is a scam
This is a scam. Survey for suppose to be #WALMART got a roomba shipping 5.99 AND THEN FEW DAYS LATER A CHARGE FOR 66.97..... scam scam scam
SCAM!!!!!!
Fill out a "TMOBILE" survey after changing my cellphone. They offered me a "free gift", only had to pay shipping and handling $7.99. I did get the gift, a go pro camera.
A week later had this charge BROADECONOMICPHOTOGRAP 8552317032 MI $66.97.
Original receipt $7.99 says is from digimaxhd.com.
Calling them, it says a 2 minute wait. My wait was 15 min and they didn't answer the phone.
Just put a dispute with my AAA Visa card.
TRICKIEST SCAM EVER!
SCAM! This company hid behind T-Mobile's Logo
This company hid behind T-Mobile's name, with bold pink and black colors! Seemingly official for completing a survey.
It only states to pay S/H for the item selected after completing the survey. The trick is, you’re timed on making your selection so you’re left to believe you do not have enough time to check out reviews prior to selection (which seems very suspicious). Once a selection is made and your info is entered for purchase…PLEASE lock your account!!!!
This company comes back within a few days and collects MORE $$$ $66.97! For WHAT! No mention of additional costs or fees or anything! Who would agree to such nonsense just to complete a survey?!!!
Once your money is taken, the search for reviews happens and then you realize how many others have experienced the same!
Really? I should have listened to my gut feeling!
I’ve emailed without response. Today I will try calling this number I located in another review (855) 942-9404 Customer Service.
BEWARE! Scams are becoming more clever and deceitful, by hiding behind well established companies, that they are apparently aware of you doing business with. I agree, they MUST be stopped!
Thankful to others for sharing your experiences. My agreement to pay S/H for $7.99 was on 10/15. The fraudulent transaction for $66.97 occurred 10/19 under the name Activeaggresivedecisi
Please lock or close your account! Others have reported recurring charges and inability to get money returned.
I too was duped by these scammers
I too was duped by these scammers. Did the survey, bought the way-to-cheap camera (never got it) and then these jerks started charging my credit card with random charges. Called them & after practically screaming at them over the phone they said they'd refund me (hasn't happened yet). They gave me some BS about how when I bought it I was signing up for some sort of access for their store...don't remember seeing anything about that in their scam ad. There must be some law enforcement agency out there we can report this to. This can't be legal.
I too was lured into the deceptive add…
I too was lured into the deceptive add disguised as a free gift for being a loyal CVS customer by taking a "quick"survey then the "free" gift option gives a variety of choices...I took the mini cam..and like everyone else I too was not happy with the crappy bait and switch...$66.97..two days later my bank account is empty...I suspect that it's probably one of the order personnel saw a way to get a few hundred bucks...things are hard enough...that was grocery money. Anyway... these guys need to get busted for this crap.!!
Stupid me; fell for this scam
Stupid me. It felt like a scam but I went ahead anyway. Now I have to cancel my credit card. All the promises of 'free camera if you fill survey; just pay $7.99 shipping' is BS. After 7.99 appeared on bill, they then tried to charge me $66.97. Fortunately cc denied the $66.97 but this scammer has been trying to charge different amounts each day since. BTW camera works but is very cheaply built and poor image quality. No way to get to settings menu, so your video will always have date and time (the WRONG date/time) splashed across the video.
This company hid behind T-Mobile's Logo
This company hid behind T-Mobile's name, with bold pink and black colors! They're a 3rd party.
I went back to their Terms and Conditions and needed to do some altering on it because their entire document is shaded in T-Mobile's color - Bold Pink. Reading the document is challenging,
After the fact of ordering the camera and an SD card, I felt something was wrong. In the ordering process they included Discover's logo, but in the final payment, they indicated Discover is no longer available. Really? Goodness, I should have listened to my gut feeling.
Today I was able to get into their Terms and Conditions which says I will be charged $71.97 monthly for my membership to the Selected Premier Discount store, who will provide me a $125 gift card every month to buy products from their direct-from-factory savings. Further, I should also understand that I am free to cancel my membership at any time by calling (855) 942-9404 Customer Service. I spoke with a gal named Kyra, but don't think she was equipped to comprehend my complaint and to cancel this so-called membership.
I cannot believe how stupid I was to fall for such a scam. This company goes on with their deceitfulness hiding behind well established companies, who they know you do business with. They need to be stopped.
Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. The ordering event happened on 9/3/22.
Digimax HD camera led to recurring scam charges.
Like other stories, I responded to a customer rewards program offered by Comcast (xFinity) around April, 2022. For about $10 I was to get a camera they said was worth a lot more. Sounded too goo to be tru, but I figured that since this was sponsored by a reputable company (Comcast), I'd go for it. Got the camera as promised.
But also kept getting recurring billings (with the description often changing) to the credit card I used. No indication it had anything to do with the camera. Finally called to complain, and they said that when I ordered the camera, I signed up for some sort of membership subscription. Baloney.
Does anyone know whether these people can be prosecuted? If not, does anyone know where they can be physically located?
Thought is was a incentive to reply to a customer satisfaction survey from Home Depot-NOT
made a large purchase from Home Depot. The camera offer was attached to a satisfaction survey from HD. $5.99 shipping for a cheap Go-Pro style camera. I made the mistake of accepting the offer. I tried to cancel the order to no avail. Two days received the camera offer. Two after that they charged $71.97 on my credit card. I immediately disputed the charge. The company identified as the shipper is METHODICAL ASSERTIVE KEE in Florida. I called their listed phone and immediately went to answering hell. Continually sent to the next automated answering device.
Sept. 6 Been playing email tag with their "customer service". They keep repeating that I must call their customer service number which says estimated wait time for a rep is 2 minutes. You are then switched to another answering system and never talk to a person.
The camera is junk and so was the offer
The camera is junk, and doesn't work, and once you give these people your information you will be flooded with similar scams. I was to be charged for shipping ONLY, and low and behold charges started to appear on my credit card in the amounts of $54 and $67 for nothing I ordered over a two month period. It was supposed to be from free shipping, that they say is all the same and I signed for subscription- no where did it say this, and I’m sure they create fraud templates for online. They only would give 50% back with it only be 3 days of charge. Once you complete the pole and you select your premium, they hit you with you have to pay the shipping. OK, I guess I can do that - DON'T. Once they had my information they kept upping the cost of the "FREE" item due to “subscription” that I didn’t sign. So buyer beware and lock your cards.
My offer claimed it was from Costco
My offer claimed it was from Costco. Are these crooks using known names like this ??
I in point of fact did not order anything. I searched on it and came up with this site. Thanks for the comments, everyone.

Scam
Scam. Will charge you $54.99 recurring fee. No where did it say this. I read specifically to check for hidden subscriptions there was absolutely no mention. this is a scam and hard to back out of once they get your number.

I was to be charged for shipping ONLY, and low and behold charges started to appear on my credit card in the amounts of $54 and $67 for nothing I ordered over a two month period. It was supposed to be answer ten questions about Home Depot and you can pick from any number of premium items. Once you complete the pole and you select your premium, they hit you with you have to pay the shipping. OK, I guess I can do that - DON'T. Once they had my information they kept upping the cost of the "FREE" item. Once I realized this was a scam I tried to back out. No way to do that. So I hoped they wouldn't abuse my information. They did! Like I said give them your information and they just fill their piggybank when they needed a little pocket change. I had my credit card company remove the charges, and eventually these fine folks eliminated the charges. So buyer beware....
I ordered camera for $7.99 shipping…
I ordered camera for $7.99 shipping charges only. Received charge and camera. Later I was charged another $66.97 for a subscription that was never referenced when ordering. Called customer service and was told the charge of $66.97 was referenced on their website and is nonrefundable. I am disputing this charge via my credit card company.
The package was broken
The package was broken . The item did not looked good. I complained to 1-86799188, customer service, the supervisor, Ivy was kind to talk to but ro refund of any purchase. They will reship one to you, no guaranteed of the quality either. So do not get trapped by free gift ,( only needs to pay handling & shipping). In my case, $49.96 is wasted for a 30 feet water proof , sports cam.
