Responsive and helpful customer support

I appreciate that customer support is very responsive via email, and it only takes one time to get a result. I believe my issue was resolved, but will need to wait on the courier. It helps that the communications are clear, detailed, and friendly but not infantalizing.

I was skeptic about the foundation…

I ordered the foundation stick natural colour. Unfortunately it didn’t match my skin colour and didn’t “change or adapt” as it says in the description.
Also it felt too “cakey” and heavy on my skin.
I guess it’s not for me.
After reading my colpaints the team was very helpful and issued a full refund.
Communication was quick and efficient.

Does not blend in, stays white

I should have read the reviews in trust pilot before buying. I ordered two sticks of Derma Muse in the hope to find a product that looks natural. I tried it a few times and every time I looked like a ghost as the product, even after much blending, simply stayed on white. In addition, I think it is not customer friendly to automatically have the subscription checkbox ticked. I am glad I noticed straight away and cancelled it before being charged, but it left me with a bitter taste for having to do that. I had also wondered if my cancelling would affect my original order. Not a feeling you'd want to leave a customer with.

Reviewing my rating because customer service was very helpful in getting my refund, very collaborative and helpful.

I found this to be a terrible product when I purchased it in February. I contacted the company and they offered me a 40% refund, which I accepted, but am yet to receive.
Since then in March and April they have sent me more product, which I throw away and they have taken money on my credit card without permission.

Update: the company were very swift to respond to my negative review asking me to email their customer service manager, which I did immediately. To date I have received zero response from them or received my money back.

Dermamuse is garbage!

I wanted to try Dermamuse as an alternative to DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer, which I love. Dermamuse unfortunately goes on white and stays white… It does not adapt to your skin tone like they claim. It looked like I had sunscreen smeared all over my face even after I blended it. Don’t waste your money on this comically bad product, it’s total garbage.

Update April 12 2026: Dermamuse just billed me out of the blue. I did not order anything or sign up for a subscription. I’m reaching out to their support but this is so annoying!!!

The product did not meet expectations

The foundation does not adapt to the skin tone. I ordered foundation sticks to light and normal skin tone, but neither of them adapted to my skin. They merely made my skin white like a clown's. There was basically no difference between the light and normal sticks.
The foundation is thick and greasy like some pharmacy cream. It is difficult to spread it evenly and difficult to clean it off my face. Considering this, I strongly doubt that it lets the skin breathe and that it is advisable to use it as a daily foundation.
I made a complaint to the company and after a couple of emails, they offered a full-refund.

I was skeptic about this makeup

I was skeptic about this makeup. I ordered the neutral but it didn’t blend it kept me ghost white. I emailed and let them know and sent pictures and they were willing to send me the dark instead. I tried the dark and it blended wonderfully. I honestly love it. It doesn’t go on thick or even feel thick when on. Mila was very helpful and I very much appreciated their help to get me the right shade

I had such a great experience with customer service!

I had such a great experience with April, one of your customer service employees. I had bought the product, and it just didn't work for me. Some time later, I got an email about my next shipment, which I wasn't certain why it was being shipped to me again. I wrote to customer service and I got an answer back from from April right away. She wrote and told me not to worry about a thing and she would take care of getting it canceled. It was done so quickly, and kindly. This was the best customer service that I have EVER had with a company. Thank you again April, for your genuine concern. All companies should hire people like April!!

Purchased this on 3/5/2026 today is 3/31/2026 I have never received the order and when I went to look at tracking info it says NO ORDER FOUND. I will never purchase off TikTok shop, shop, Klarna any of them because they are Korean owned. They will rob you with no issues then try to use your card info later down the road..

This does not blend

This does not blend, it just stays white and chalky on my skin. Ordered two different colors, both of them are not blending.
The advertising on social media is a lie, and now I dont trust any beauty products out there.

Í strongly advise not to buy this…

Í strongly advise not to buy this product. I ordered 2 sticks and I got them about a month later. I did not ask for a subscribtion. My credidcard has been charged twice, the second time exactly one month after my first payment.
They say it will blend into your skin and change color to match yours. I am blond with fair skin and I ordered the natural color, not the fairest one. Yet it is chalky white on my skin and sits on top of it instead of blending into it. its horrible and I will not continue using it. I am hoping to get a refund and a cancelation on this forced subscribtion .

Don’t buy…

First, it took about a month to receive it and second, the product didn’t change colors at all and it made my face just look white so it didn’t blend into anything. It actually made my face extremely dry as well so I basically just put it on to try and immediately took it off. Bought two but will most likely never touch them again unfortunately.
