Best decision ever

Before you give up with dating sites, give Cupid Media a try, after years of unsuccessful dating I came across the various sites of Cupid Media then I decide to sign up for two of their sites just to have some variety. Best decision ever ! I found my soul mate.

I met a lot of genuine singles

I signed up for two of their dating sites; ThaiCupid.com and VietnamCupid.com. I met a lot of geniuine singles and I'm planning a holiday this year to meet a special lady in person. They have a great 1 week membership plan that let's you get a taste for the site before deciding to take out a longer membership option.

I really like their sites for meeting…

I really like their sites for meeting people from around the world.

Unlike other similar international dating sites, it's a monthly fee model vs credits which I find way too expensive.

I've been a member of three of their sites now for about 6 months; InternationalCupid, FilipinoCupid and AsianDating and have met a few lovely ladies on my travels.

Some real people, some gold diggers and a big gamble

I have tried a few of Cupid Media sites including Dominican Cupid, Latin American Cupid, Black Cupid and Caribbean Cupid. I live in the U.S. I have met some real people on some of these sites, but I had to leave my country to meet them. No woman on Dominican Cupid or Latin American Cupid, who also lived in the U.S. ever answered my messages. Many of those out side the U.S answered or wrote to me but many were young, with no Cupid memberships, and no travel documents.-just Whattsapp numbers. After two conversations many, not all, wanted me to send money, which I did not. The one's on Black and Caribbean Cupid were always spammers from Ghana
My conclusion is there are real people on some of these sites but you will probably have to leave your home country to meet them
. In all fairness I did actually marry one who came to my country after communicating on International Cupid. What a disaster that turned out to be!!

Cupmedia is so weird

Cupmedia is so weird, they have office in Australia but thorough bank transfers they will ask to pay in Netherlands bank without bank without address even though they don’t have any office in Amsterdam , how come you can ask to pay in Amsterdam. Don’t play with people if they are paying to you so be honest and remove the fake profiles

I first used Colombian Cupid about 5…

I first used Colombian Cupid about 5 years ago. What I like about this site is that you can first of all browse for as long as you want without making any financial committment. If you do not speak, for example Spanish then the higher membership will translate your message for you, and should the lady reply then it will be translated into English. I met a lady on the site and went to Colombia to meet her. Sadly the relationship didnt work out. However, 2nd time round, after meeting another lady I went back out to Colombia and everything is going fine despite the travel restrictions because of COVID-19. I have met some women on here who without doubt are looking for money. The responsibility is with you, not Cupid Media to be clued up and protect yourself. Be alert and dont be gullible just because some woman says she loves you etc. This has been a very good experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone. Just be careful!!!

Dear Alex,
The prices are different because the sites have different popularity hence would provide more value in terms of number of profiles and consequently higher chances of finding love.

I paid 72 euro for 3 months

I paid 72 euro for 3 months.
after 3 days I figured out that most members not speaking English or very bad. Conversations are not possible.

So I wrote to customer support with the request to transfer my account to the international site.

But they told me they cannot switch my account to the international Cupid because it is independent.

Also no possibility to refund!! Even not a partial refund!!!

Day after my request I received a Receipt and conformation new membership!

So great Service...Really carting about their customers..NOT Lost 71,99 euro ...just like that..

MANY Fake / Bait and Scam Profiles Mixed With the Genuine Ones

While it is possible to find and meet genuine people on this and other dating sites, there are definitely an incredible amount of fake messages delivered to men's inboxes, especially immediately after signing up (but before paying), and especially even more during the times you are logged in to the site. Therefore, I can only conclude that the false profiles that send a bunch of messages with identical phrases or often times asking identical questions must be created by professionals at Cupid Media to fool gullible people (or, at least gullible men, as I do not know how the site works for women) into believing a lot of women are interested in and messaging them.

Within ONE week, men can receive nearly to over 100 messages (with multiple messages saying the exact same things, verbatim). Meanwhile, there are very little to no profile views. It is obvious that these messages are fake, or at least not from legitimate profiles.

Every time you receive a message you should also get a notification sent to the email you used to sign up for the dating site. Clicking link in that email takes you to the message in site, which is (mostly) blocked out if you are not a paid member, stating that you must have paid subscription to read them.

If you do pay, you will realize that the messages are fake. They are most likely from a profile used by the Cupid company for sending a bunch of messages and tricking men into paying to read them. Some, however, are scammers from various places.

I have actually met good women on this and another site. Both turned in to relationships. However, I have personally come across many scams as well. Cupid Media argues that they fight and remove scammers, yet nothing has changed over the past few years.

I had a free trial nearly two years ago and I was able to open and see that the 80+ messages I got within the first week were all fake. I have also recently signed up for a paid subscription on a few of their sites and noticed the avalanche of fake messages begin to slow down to a trickle within a few days of paying. A good amount of the profiles that send the fake messages also end up being "switched off" before you can reply once you pay. However, you don't need to pay or get a free trial to see that most, if not all, messages you initially recieve at first are fake. You just need experience, common sense and the ability to notice that the first few words you can see before it is blocked out (messages will be mostly blocked out if you are not a paid member) almost all say the exact same things; The first message is identical to the third, fifth or sixth message, the second message is identical to seventh or tenth message, etc. It doesn't matter the language or location.

One good thing about Cupid Media's sites is that it is relatively easy to know which messages / profiles are fake or bait profile bots - IF you know what clues to look for! If you see people you never messaged leaving messages while your profile has no views or interest notifications, or you receive a bunch of messages about how great you / your profile / your pictures are without creating a bio or posting pictures, or you receive positive messages after putting something derogatory in your profile bio, then you know it is not a real person messaging you.

However, if you see someone viewed your profile and left an indicator of interest - then messaged you, it might be someone who is genuinely interested. So, let them know you want to video chat so you can see that they are a real person.

Use the site at your own discretion, but do not be foolish enough to believe all those messages you receive within the first few hours or days before paying are all real women that are interested in you - without them viewing your profile, or before you even complete your profile!

Also, don't be fooled by any follow up claim saying this isn't true, or any follow up comment that is off topic to my review that indicates that everything is genuine and safe with Cupid Media. They (as most datimg sites) are running some shady techniques to trick you in to paying. Problem is, the only REAL chance for successfully meeting a woman is by being a paid member. If you want to possibly meet and date people, and you are aware of your odds (especially as a man) of being successful, then go ahead. But if you're one to easily be fooled and believe everything you see and think all messages and interactions are real, don't waste your time or money.

PS: If you want to see for yourself how accurate my review is, sign up and see what happens for yourself at International Cupid and other sites of theirs. An experienced person who can detect the difference between real and fake profiles does have a chance of meeting a real person.

Do your homework but otherwise its an okay site

It's quite genuine to me I met some nice girls on the likes of LatinaAmericaCupid and UkraineDate etc. But some of those cupid media sites the girls may only wanna take advantage out of you so just be cautious!
