I don’t normally write reviews but county funerals have now done my step dads and most recently my mums funerals , and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust anybody else in looking after my loved ones.
They are extremely professional but at the same time the most caring company I have ever dealt with .
nothing was to much, from collecting Mum to the burial and even after the support felt genuine, they actually care it’s not just a business.
Grant, Amelia and the rest of the team I can’t thank you enough you made some of my darkest days more bearable I hope I don’t need your services any time soon but it’s a comfort knowing if I ever do I can trust you completely. Thank you so much

County Funerals provide an exceptionally outstanding service for my wife. They were considerate and respectful in meeting the family's wishes for taking care of our loved one, the order of service, flowers, cars and all printing of the service booklets. Everyone who came remarked on what a lovely service they had experienced. I highly recommend County Funerals.

County Funerals did our Mum proud. From the beginning to the farewell we couldn't have asked for more, they offered compassion, sensitivity, thoughtfulness and we were so well looked after. They thought of things we hadn't considered and just understood we were. Highly recommend

I don't have the words to thank county funerals enough for the funeral service they did for the late Darran Upson. From start to finish they were great. I first spoke with Grant (who we then met in person), who really put us all at ease (we knew what we wanted (basically a service outside and last visit to the pub!) but had no idea if any of it was possible. Anyway, Grant helped us arrange everything we wanted (over a cuppa too!) and if you can call a funeral perfect, it was perfect! I would recommend county funerals to anyone in a heartbeat. We also spoke to other members of the team during this time and honestly, they are all simply amazing! (lovely touch playing Bob Marley while Darran was in the chapel BTW 💞). Thank you ALL.

24th June 2022, sadly my Grandad passed away. It was about 10.30pm and Nan made a call to County Funerals and then realised it was late so left it. No sooner had Nan hung up, Grant was ringing Nan back. Bless him he stayed on the phone and had a long chat with Nan talking her through everything. From then on Grant and his team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like my family and I were apart of Grant’s family. Tea and coffee as and when you wanted, door always open. Explained everything and made what was such a sad time for us all, that little bit easier to deal with. Nothing was rushed and he kept saying don’t make any decisions yet until needed. No pressure at all and certainly not a funeral directors who are after your money and trying to sell you the most expensive plan. To Grant and all the team at County Funerals, thank you so much X X X

I cannot recommend country funerals highly enough. From the first phone call until the end of the funeral Leah and family were wonderful. They made a very hard day much easier thanks to their empathy and brilliant service.

We cant thank enough Leah & Frances and their team for their wonderful handling of both our mother's passing and funeral a month ago and our father three years ago. They acted with true professionalism and sensitivity all the way through at what is a very difficult time. Their Chapel of Rest located in the peaceful village of Westwell feels like a very fitting place for the beginning of this journey. The funeral itself was conducted with precision and expertise that cannot be faulted. We highly recommend the services of Country Funerals without hesitation for the final sendoff of a beloved family member.

We would like to say a huge thank you to County Funerals whom we entrusted to look after our late Mum.
Their care, support and professionalism was outstanding for which we are truly grateful for, at a very difficult time.

With very difficult times, County funerals delivered on every aspect of service available. My father died of the Covid19 virus, and it was very difficult to arrange anything, however County Funerals took over & arranged everything for my family. I can't thank them enough!

Our experience with county funerals was excellent from start to finish . I took my mum to meet the team prior to her death and she came away feeling so happy . She was made to feel so at ease about talking about her wishes , and felt so comfortable asking whatever she wanted .
My dad was so impressed, he now insists when his time comes , it will be county funerals .
In these awful times , the funeral went really well under these conditions .
If you want a professional service but with all the personal added touches then I can not recommend County funerals enough . They certainly provide something special and unique .

A very professional and caring team, here's hoping you don't need to use them but if you do I highly recommend them.

The lovely people at County Funerals made the whole process that much easier to come to terms with. There was a delay in cremating dad due to Covid19 but County Funerals were in regular contact with me which I appreciated greatly. A small, local firm but well worth getting in contact with.
