Tried to use this service to send a christmas gift. Delivery was not made to the correct address. Tried to send a second time, delivery records show it was delivered to an address in FL, the gift was supposed to go to OH. Attempted to obtain a refund and was only refunded 1/2 of what was paid. I would not recommend.

I ordered a rare vodka from CastCartel. They did not have it in stock, but found it with one of their distributors. They got it from them and sent immediately to me. My package was stolen because the delivery company did not follow instructions and leave it in the back. Not Cask Cartels fault. However, they jumped right in and assisted me step by step with the insurance and replacement bottle. Michelle Went above and beyond! Very satisfied! Will use them for all my rare items. They stood behind every step of their process. Thank you so much!
These guys are just aggregating distributor lists - don't have product in stock…
These guys are just aggregation marketers - they take a list from distributors (whether its actually in stock or not) and post it to places like wine searcher with insanely (and I mean insanely) high mark-ups. Then IF they can get it for you, they will have it basically drop-shipped from the respective holder of the product. Same business model as Saratoga Wine Exchange, etc. All those crazy results you see on wine searcher. I tried to order something that I knew was simply IMPOSSIBLE for them to be able to supply yet they had it on their site - lo and behold, order was cancelled.
Do yourself a favor, go to wine searcher, buy yourself a pro subscription and find basically anything you want 2-3x cheaper than cask cartel or any of these aggregators have it. Really no point to voluntarily use a middle man.
I am sure this comment will get a generic reply such as "our team works hard to fulfill your needs, etc etc etc" but at the end of the day this business model is for scumbags. Hopefully these kind of aggregators get outlawed soon.

Tainted bottle & no replacement 😡
I received 2 bottles of bourbon. Both had a metal bullet cap with rubber on the end. One bottle had rust leaking into the bourbon from a faulty cap. The bourbon was in consumable. I took pictures to show, contacted them. They refused to replace the bottle. I even volunteered to ship the bad bottle back and still NO replacement bottle to be shipped. Basically I’m out $50.00 and they don’t care.

They sent me what I ordered and resolved any issues i've had. For the items I ordered in the past it takes some time before I get them. I have learned to plan ahead to get the order when I need it. They are very reliable and ready to help with any problem you may have.

These guys 'sell' our mezcals why they're not authorized to do so. They also don't carry any of our bottles because of the same reason. Cask Cartel says it's simply a marketplace. We have not authorized any retailer to promote our products on their website. Also their published prices are OVER 200% of our MSRP!

DO not buy from this site. errible customer service. The products came broken + damaged ( thankfully I did buy insurance for the shipment) but also got changed for delivery. If anything gets damaged through no fault of your own the take zero responsibility so you are out shipping costs (insurance doesnt cover that) and your bottles are covered only if you buy extra insurance. The rep keeps saying she will follow up but never ever does. I had to keep calling constantly for any answers.
The $50 refund for shipping I had to fight to even get doesn’t even cover the full cost of shipping which was around $200. So I didn’t receive MOST of my shipment, had to even pay for insurance MYSELF as company doesn’t take any responsibility on their to refund or replace anything without you buying the insurance. In addition I had to pay for shipping for a package that I didn’t receive most of the items. $50 nowhere near covers the shipping cost I paid. What a joke of a company. Just doesn’t care. Better off buying somewhere else that has better customer service.

I would give this site a zero if possible. I ordered a very expensive cognac for a Christmas present after I checked that it would arrive before I left town. An email at a later date said it would be delivered later. I contacted customer service to change the date and they said to contact the delivery service (UPS). I tried multiple times to do so without success. So the product was returned. When I contacted Cask Cartel after returning home, they informed me I would have to pay an additional $50+ to have it delivered or get a refund minus a 35% restocking fee. I will never use this website again. Buyer Beware!

No control over possibly long shipping experience
On the positive side, this company is not a scam. After placing an order and finding all the negative reviews here I was briefly worried. They are a legitimate business.
Caveat emptor: the expectations are clearly spelled out when you order:
- No refunds. The company is just a central point to aggregate orders, they outsource actual fulfillment to their network. At best if you have a bad experience you'll get a credit for a future order.
- Up to 4 days to assign your order and up to 30 days for it to be fulfilled. It doesn't always take this long; I ordered a Christmas gift for my brother on Dec 11 and it was delivered Dec 26. This wouldn't normally be a problem except given that it is alcohol and requires an adult signature and threatens return if not accepted in 3 attempts, the lack of ability to specify any delivery dates in advance ties your recipient to being present to accept it for a 35-day period.
- Expensive. Worth it for me as a gift, but I will not be likely to order from them unless it's a truly unique product I can't get elsewhere and am willing to pay a premium to obtain.

I ordered for the 3rd time today and, for the 3rd time, was unable to leave a gift message. I will not be ordering from here gain. Customer service is a bot at best; it takes a long time for shipping even though I paid an extra $40, and then I find out that the things I ordered were WAY overpriced. I wish I had checked other customer reviews before returning for a 3rd time.

Ordered gift two weeks before party
Ordered an item for a Christmas party two weeks before and in the item description it stated the item ships in 1-3 days. After a 5 days I contacted customer service, and I was told it was technically 10 days if I read their shipping policy and the 1-3 days stated in the description was never addressed. On the 10th day I sent another email, and I was told it was only the 6th business date since I had ordered it on a Friday evening and this was second Tuesday past. It’s now a week after the party and 14 business days and the item has not shipped.

I have ordered two products and have not yet recieved them. They are Christmas gifts and I fear I've been scammed. I email the company and get no response. As also I have called and get no where. I have paid an extreme amount of money and am very disappointed in their turn around time for delivery.

Long fulfillment times without notice, don't buy if you want it quickly!
When someone goes out of their way to leave a review, usually it's not positive. In this case, I am posting as a warning. I purchased a whisky "advent calendar" on November 21st and it didn't ship until December 7th, and won't deliver until December 12th if no delays. I paid $58 for shipping, so it's not a disgruntled review after getting free shipping. When someone pays significantly for shipping and you don't fulfill the order for 2+ weeks, that is very poor.
I contacted customer service who acknowledged long fulfillment times, but didn't seem concerned there was no communication about it and offered me a coupon for my next large purchase. I will not be purchasing from them again. Buyer beware.

The product I thought I was purchasing was not the product received.
I purchased Whisky Thief from Cask Cartel as a Christmas gift for my husband. He had received a bottle as a gift a year earlier. I went on line and fount the bottle at Cask Cartel. It was promised arrival by Christmas. I purchased it. It took three months to recieve after many emails.
The bottle they send was not the bottle they show on their website. I called to have the correct it and they told me the distillery changed their label. I went to Cask Cartels website and contacted the distillery they name in the description, Three Boys Farm Distillery. I spoke with Mike, He had me send a picture of the product listed on Cask Cartel website . He said they have never made a Whiskey in a bottle the had pictured on there website. He said a company in the UK makes the whiskey Cask Cartel is showing. He then told me that they do produce a whiskey called Whiskey Thief. The bottle and label is totally different.
He emailed me the information and I disputed with Pay Pal using his statements. and the email Cask Cartel sent stating the label had been changed. I did get a full refund.
If it would not been for Mike at Three Boys Farm Distillery and PayPal this would have ended much differently. I will not buy from Cask Cartel again.

Should’ve looked into this first. Now that I’ve read all the comments, I feel scammed. I ordered a bottle of Ava Gardner Second Edition whiskey, I couldn’t find it at my local ABC. A month went by and they reached out saying the distiller was out of stock so they gave me a gift card “store credit”. Fine. I bought 2 bottles of Gentleman Jack to keep it simple and move on. I ended up getting the Ava from the distillery itself so i dont know why it would be “sold out”. Now my package is suppose to arrive tomorrow, and UPS says it’s from “China and Cutlery”. What kind of place is this?? Take caution, folks. I will update if the order comes messed up
