The representative that spoke to me knew my data rather quickly and was extremely generous with information. The attitude was helpful and more importantly looked for ways to make my life easier, quiet literally, with the chronic medication dispensation.
I was worried the experience would be negative but I am more than satisfied with how it was handled.

My experience with Bupa is amazing. I never wait for any approval of mine and my family for any lab test or any medical assistance required. All are managing very professionally. in case of any emergency you are free of tension for paperwork and approvals. App is very easy and user friendly. Easily claim reimbursement and payment process is very swift. I would recommend to others to take bupa insurance.

It’s easy and smooth for me to pay for my medication at my nearest pharmacy (which is not a Bupa vendor) and get reimbursed by Bupa. The process is smooth and a seamless process

My wife had a terrible accident, requiring up to 2 times an surgical intervention with femur replacement. She had to spend nearly 6 months in rehabilitation, which I had to pay out of my own pocket.
BUPA settled the costs of the intervention, and they approved her being admitted to rehabilitation. Wife's contract allows 42 days of rehabilitation.
We signed a contract with the rehabilitation center at the transfer of my wife from hospital. A contract with a monthly lumpsum price.
Now BUPA does NOT approve the invoices as they request details of actions taken during rehabilitation. Which in BUPA's documents/contract are NOT required to be submitted and which the rehabilitation center legally cannot provide.
Discussions are going on for several months, and we are actually getting fed up with the unwillingness of our insurance to complete their obligations, We keep on paying a huge monthly sum for membership.
It looks as though the medical inconvenience we experience is not enough to suffer.
Furthermore it is medical required to have some pre-op examinations done before one can be operated. Without these test that are directly linked to an operation, no operation will be performed. For BUPA they are not linked to your hospitalization and are considered OUTPATIENT.
We fulfill every month and without delay our contract obligations. BUPA Doesn't.

I have previously been somewhat critical of BUPA.
However yesterday I had occasion to ring them over a bit of a stressful matter.
The two individuals I interacted with were so kind, professional and empathetic, and I could not be more grateful, so thank you.
In addition, the new telephone system was marvellous!

It's good when the claim gets accepted. What i liked is the feedback is heard and responded to.
Most times the claim is smooth but they can make you resubmit invoices a couple of times before they accept.
