Awful company to buy from. Doesn’t mention anywhere until they already have your money that you have to post your original V5 and driving license to them before they will make your plates, unlike any other DVLA registered seller who will allow you to submit your documents online. Not willing to do this, I contacted them to cancel my order 5 minutes after placing it. Three contact attempts later, no reply to any of them, no plates, no cancellation, no refund. Basically a scam company.

Will be reporting to my bank for a chargeback

Update - reported to my bank to try to get a chargeback, got my money back in under 24 hours

If you happen to be in a similar situation to me feel free to use this excerpt from my claim, all true and correct. The blanket “no refunds” policy is not enforceable

From my claim:
“ Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers have cancellation rights for distance purchases, and any exceptions (such as personalised goods) must be applied fairly and transparently.

The merchant’s terms state that “no refunds will be given under any circumstances.” This is a blanket policy which appears to be an unfair contract term under UK consumer law, as it attempts to remove statutory cancellation and refund rights.

Given that:
- I attempted to cancel the order almost immediately
- The requirement to send original documents was not clearly disclosed prior to purchase
- No documents have been submitted
- No production or service has taken place
- The merchant has not responded to multiple contact attempts”

I believe I am entitled to a full refund. I am requesting a chargeback on the grounds that the service was not provided and the merchant is unfairly refusing to refund.”

Fast and efficient service as always

Used Baspoke Plates Ltd recently and I have to say their service was excellent, plates came really quickly, 2 day turnaround and came out amazing.

Will definitely be using these guys again.

Fantastic proficiency and service

Amazing company had 3 sets of plates off them now my last ones I had an issue with the lettering coming off but they’ve sorted it out streight away and sent a new set out to me! Cant fault them absolutely amazing

Ordered a number of plates from these guys because they always give a professional but personal service. This time I needed the pates quickly and they printed and despatched the plates on the same day for me. Not only that but they called and emailed to say they were able to help me out. first time ordering a costom legal plate wasn't to sure why i was doing but bespoke plates have made it so easy to do. as soon as i showed proof of the v750 showing i own the rights to use the plates they had it shipped within a few hours ive just ordered another plate because i ordered the wrong size and they are shipping it next day its been very easy all the staff members i've spoke to have been very helpful i'll definitely use them again
