Apollo’s are great scooters! Definitely a head turner. But it also becomes a head scratcher how a Bluetooth disconnect during a firmware update turns out to be a controller replacement at the end. Aft... See more

I highly recommend this company. I am a third time scooter owner, my third being an Apollo City. I looked to Apollo for a few reasons. Quality, features, hill climbing, Canadian and price. After much research Apollo kept coming up as one of the best companies as far as product and service goes. While I have not had my City for that long I can attest that the quality of this scooter far surpasses my previous two. Had a couple minor issues with app connection but the Apollo team came to my rescue and had me up and scooting in no time.

Warning: Despite the marketing around rain resistance, I was told this in an email from one of their human support people: "Since the issues with your buttons occurred after riding in the rain - and because this isn't a common hardware fault we've seen - this wouldn't normally be covered under our standard warranty."
Recent update: Ugh, I just realized I've been conversing with their bot over email all weekend about an another repair I need. Next time I'll be buying a scooter from a local shop. I regret buying from an online retailer, even if they're Canadian :-(
The scooter itself feels pretty good. It's my first, so I don't have much to compare it to besides the Lime scooters in a nearby city, which the Apollo Go, being brand new, feels better than.
I think the device looks sleek and less silly than others I've seen, but that's just my taste.
As a Canadian I love that they operate out of Canada—the shipping time to my place was only 2 days and I'm the other side of the country as their main office and on an Island.
Support has been very responsive, but unfortunately, for the issues I brought up, they were unable to help:
1. I'm getting ~20km of range at ~30km/hr on Sport mode. I only saw the "up to 58km" or whatever of range and hoped I would get at least half of that, which may be the case if I ride slower than bike traffic in my city or was 120lbs. The web page does show that sport mode maxes at 35km of range or something, but haven't never used their scooters before, wasn't sure what that meant exactly and wish they had been more up front about expectations around body weight, hills, and speed, with respect to range. I get that this is par for the course for the industry and am disappointed that they likely feel roped into doing the same in order to compete.
2. I got my scooter with a broken bell. It requires replacing the entire brake module, which they were nice enough to send to me if I paid for shipping. I declined the offer since it arrived broken and I didn't feel like I should pay for a replacement part, which unfortunately was the entire braking module. It's disappointing that the part I need replaced can't be sourced on its own as it's very small.
Update: They made an exception to wave the shipping fee.
Update 2: I'm finding I'm still getting about 20km range on Comfort (2) mode with speeds between 15-25km/hr. I've also found the battery life dots on the display can't be totally trusted. I went for a ~8km ride and lost one battery dot. The next day I went for a ~2km ride and lost like 6 dots.

Good service awesome scooter fast fun well built, overall the experience was really great. I bought city 2024 and it was as expected. The ride and suspension is firm but feels very well built. I also ride a max g3 - similar weight and speed. The City is more fun better acceleration and speed. The lights are a bit of a problem - headlight is insufficient and the square handlebars make adding a light difficult. End of handlebar turning signals a poor design choice mine came off almost immediately. But I always choose the Apollo and love it. Thank you.

I purchased an Apollo Explore back in July of 2022. I'm a VERY low users of the scooter. To date I've only put on 314km on it.
To date, I've spent over $300 and endless frustration with the rear tire. 1 week after I received it, the tire blew. They were kind enough to send me 2 replacements at that time. The experience of replacing the tube is nothing short of torturous.
Tire blew again few months later - took it to a local shop to do the work for me. No problem. Few weeks later, tube flat again. No punctures, just flat.
Winter here in Canada so don't ride during the winter months.
Currently without a tire, and Apollo now telling me they can't do anything but sending me chatgpt support replied to amazon links for tires.
Avoid this company - they do not stand by the products they sell and replacing tires, maintenance is a nightmare.

Experiencing an issue with the steering on my Apollo Pro, I received helpful replies from two separate support people within hours. This is my third Apollo scooter and my experience has been the same on all of them. The company is very responsive and concerned with customer satisfaction, which is a big reason why I'm a repeat customer.

The delivery was ok. No damage. Quite happy with the product overall. The true range is less than what is advertised but of course that’s expected due to several factors. Thinking of buying another product.

The performance and quality went beyond my expectations! Exceptional acceleration and I love the regenerative braking! I’m getting 25 miles in sport mode and the Apollo City is perfect for my daily commuting. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

Have owned the Apollo Phantom v2 for 2 years with over 2600 miles on it. Still going strong, when I run into issues tech support is very helpful

When I was shopping got live chat right away.
After purchase. Two days to answer me. NO MORE LIVE CHAT. Set up video not accurate. 1st thing they should tell you, is that you have to download the app. Then show the steps you have to take to get to the beginning of set up. SCOOTER is great but customer service SUCKS!

Apollo is by far an amazing company, Ive had the price of getting 2 Phantom 2.0 52v’s, I've had a few issues and whenever I’ve needed support they help out! The scooters are amazing and fun! Would recommend and buy again!

My confidence increased by Apollo providing communication before and after the sale. The Apollo City arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble, and it arrived with a 70% charge. I weigh 200 lbs. and live in a hilly area, so I chose the Apollo City. It climbs every hill in my area with ease. It goes farther than I need to go, and it goes faster than I should go. The app is easy to use.
