Bought induction hob as part of a kitchen from B&Q had two electricians out both said appliance was faulty Alpelson sent an engineer plugged it into a test rig and left after 5 minutes stating it was ok now charged £78 for the visit. Do not buy from this company
Bought an Appelson wine cooler. The heating element went at just 2 yrs old. There is now a 6 month wait for the part. Apelson most unhelpful. Avoid this company at all costs
I have an Apelson intergrated dishwasher,
4 Months left of my parts warranty,
It's been faultless since installed in 2019.
Phoned their warranty section as I needed a new lower basket , they honoured the claim.
I received the basket..eventually.... ..i had to phone 4 times wondering were it was,
Eventually arrived, they claimed a warehouse move was the reason for the amount of time it took.
This company do not respond to enquiries made on their messaging system. After sales service therefore none existent.
Shocking service for our brand new wine cooler. Issues with the temperature, all they needed to is come out and change a component but kept telling Wren they had called me to arrange a visit when they hadn't. Finally got in touch 3 weeks later to confirm a date then didn't turn up or call!

I bought a gas hob. It has been installed about a month after the purchase. It all worked good for a few days and then the large burner stopped working when all other 3 smaller burners work fine for now.
My gas engineer contacted them around a week ago, no response. I contacted them twice already. The first time I was constanty redirected to different people and then an automatic voice asked to choose an option it never worked (chose an option 50 times). I then called them another time and was ased to call a different number. I called a different number, the call was answered with a silence LOL! It ended on that silence. Then I called again and was waiting for 95 minutes but nobody answered. As a result, more than 3 hours of my time wasted. Nobody called me back or ansewred the call or recorded the faults hahah!
I was now looking for their email address to send them an official complaint letter with limited time allowed for resolution prior to taking further actions but could not find any online!

I want to put some positive feedback on Apelson Appliances UK Ltd, and one person in particular Sophie Hobson (Customer Service Advisor). Sophie was incredible throughout the process and went above and beyond. I can't thank her enough for all her help and ongoing support. Great Service!
Laughably bad service. Newly installed oven stopped working: I called this firm because the warranty is with them ( from Wren Kitchens) and was told I would be contacted by an engineer within 24-48 hours. I called & emailed repeatedly over the next weeks and was continually fobbed off. First: than the engineer couldn't see me because 'a part is on back order'. When I pointed out that an engineer couldn't know what part was needed without seeing the oven, I was told this was normal practice. Then they told me that they did have the part after all, but 'in a different warehouse' and to get it would be 'a hassle'. Since then, I've been continually told that my request has been 'escalated'. No obvious complaints procedure on their website. Complete shambles.
Took my money and then got an email from DPD to say it would be delivered and then almost immediately DPD said the order had been cancelled. I contacted Aplelson for an explanation but as of today there has been no reply and they still have my money and no refund or explanation. Awful company and avoid
Avoid if you don’t want shoddy manufactured product (motor on the hood blew within 2 months of use) without any warranty - customer service is non existent and even the initial order was a week late.
Bought a brand new wine cooler and kept it in the box for 34 days whilst my new kitchen was being installed. When it came to being fitted, the cooler was dormant and didn't work. Instead of exchanging the cooler that is defective, I have been told that they will have to send a technician round to change the parts...This is despicable, a brand new £180 cooler, 34 days old and I am having to have parts replaced. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, GO FOR THE BIGGER BRANDS.
My gas hob spares arrived swiftly and were well wrapped for protection, unfortunately the Knob assy x5 were not the ones ordered and are of significant difference in quality, colour and design. Despite ordering from the image on the website spareszone.co.uk/ along with several other parts totalling £152.86
Customer Services were polite and swift to respond and stated ‘The control knobs have been changed because the original is no longer available. They are still working fine but if you do not wish to keep them please return them to us and a refund will be made’.
To return the parts, please fill in the attached form. Be aware that the return will be at your own cost.

So the upshot is the product ‘has changed’ making it Not as Described, Consumer rights act 2015, which they clearly knew prior to my purchase.
To expect the customer to pay for the return postage on 5 plastic knob assemblies is both petty and unprofessional and Will clearly influence my decision on future purchases from spareszone.co.uk/ and Apelson Appliances UK Ltd

Today a very sweet boy named Jordan came to fix our oven. He was polite, communicative and very knowledgeable. He even offered to go get us anything we may need from the shops (we are both ill). We hope he sees this review and feels inspired to keep up the good work!

We had an Apelson dishwasher installed by the developer of our new build house. After 2 years the dishwasher racks are badly rusted. Apelson wanted to charge us £95 to bring a new rack. As the dishwasher is very flimsy have decided to have dishwasher taken out and replaced by a Bosch. Apelson products are poorly made and will not last.
