Paul attended a 12-week course from this tutor, very experienced, clear explanation and active lessons, absolutely enjoyable overall!

My son has benefitted hugely from the AS Chemistry course with Andrew . The live , interactive , group sessions twice a week in addition to the personalised exam question clinic have been excellent . The weekly homework activities which are actual exam board questions ( specific to all exam boards ) are very helpful and motivational with the mark schemes and examiner’s reports . Andrew explains concepts in a new and interesting manner which is beneficial for recall . He answers questions in greater depth than my son’s teachers in school allowing my son to grow in confidence and to have a full understanding of his areas for development . My son is enjoying chemistry much more and feels like he is back on target to achieve his predicted grade of an A . Andrew uses a very motivational style with effective WhatsApp messages to students and parents/ carers ensuring all know what is happening and are enthused to make the very best of the sessions . An excellent programme which is highly recommended .

My son Ollie was really struggling with not just the curriculum but also just deciphering the questions… and of course as a result this impacted greatly on his confidence! Andrew has helped on all counts. Ollie likes Andrew’s teaching style, has started to really understand what he is doing, and his confidence has grown immeasurably. Andrew helped my daughter secure a place at medical school! My daughter was struggling with D/C in mock exams but needed an A for medicine. Andrew did a detailed assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses and in a matter of weeks helped her make a huge positive difference in her progress and confidence in A Level Chemistry. This course was absolutely amazing! Andrew broke down everything so clearly. Anytime that I thought of a question between the classes, he was more than happy to help (either in the weekend clinic or by WhatsApp). In the course, he went through all A2 topics and the mark schemes from each board for exam technique. I have previously struggled with finishing papers and figuring out what the question wants me to write down, but after this course, I was able to finish all my papers with time to check through and understand what the marker wants me to say. Andrew is super patient and non-judgemental. I highly recommend this course!

Such a helpful course, struggled a lot with chemistry before as I lacked techniques, from the first lesson I was able to see improvements. I was taught many things that helped a lot in the exam, my confidence in chemistry increased thanks to Andrew! Definitely recommend.

Andrew and this tutoring course have been absolutely brilliant! I was scraping a D/C grade average in Chemistry prior to the beginning of the course, and after the course ended I got my first A in a Chemistry mock exam. Andrew has helped me learn Chemistry so that I’m not memorising it, but understanding it, using the great tools and techniques he provides over the course. Overall I’m so incredibly impressed and satisfied with my experience. He has been polite, professional and extremely supportive. I never thought I would understand Chemistry, let alone begin to like it, before I took this course. I have frequently missed content in class due to health issues, but Andrew made up beautifully for the gap. He breaks content down and explains it with ease, and honestly was instrumental and the major factor as to why I have begun to see such a major improvement in my grades and even in my opinion of A-Level Chemistry. I 100% recommend him!

Massive boost in confidence and understanding in a level Chem (I did Edexcel)
