Great service. Minimal hassle. No ones perfect

Whilst not perfect and I’ve experienced some comms issues via the app (instant messenger disappearing with no warning) and slow responsiveness to me (but not guests) I have on the whole been really impressed. So far have only five star reviews and the standard of cleaning is excellent. Going from never having rented out my place to getting three months of back to back bookings I’m really happy with using Airsorted and would recommend to anyone wanting minimal hassle.

Airsorted lives up to its name

Airsorted ironed out an issue in my Airbnb instantly and even offered a massage or free meal as an apology - totally above and beyond the call of duty but hugely appreciated and shows how seriously they take ensuring your stay is perfect. Communication was also always instant, polite and showed they cared. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

The irritation factor

Far too much communication and duplicated messages across multiple platforms. I had to jump through so many hoops just to secure the reservation and was micromanaged throughout - in the end I felt like the owner was doing me a favor rather than me being a paying guest.

Great Service - Kept me fully informed

Great service that allowed this Airbnb user to be confident that help was always available. Extremely responsive and proactive. Several pre-stay messages to make check-in easy. Quickly responded to requests for early check-in allowed me to plan my day. They even provided luggage storage solution proactively without be asked. Made me aware of issue with electrical that came up hours before check-in and had repair person at least flat within 20 minutes.

I have received so many generic…

I have received so many generic messages for this booking that I fell I am constantly talking to a robot who is broken and keeps repeating the same sentence all over again.

Not just that the messages were generic, but the information in them was very unclear.

Everything was wonderful!

Everything was wonderful!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a bag of wet towels in one of the cupboards. I'm sure this was just accidentally left there by the cleaning staff. The place was otherwise spotless!

Check the coffeemaker

Airsorted did a nice job cleaning and dressing the place, but overlooked coffee and grounds left in the coffeemaker (which has an opaque thermal carafe) by the prior renter. Since we were the prior renters, it didn't gross us out, but had we not been the prior renter, it would have.

From a hosting perspective

From a hosting perspective really terrible in every way. Slow, vague, plenty of false promises. Impossible to get hold of when there’s an issue. Even let themselves into your property without permission and prior warning. Totally shocking. Only posting this to warn other landlords not to waste time, money and effort until they vastly improve and become a professional outfit - find a better Airbnb manager.

A really great service

I was going to give a 5 star rating but had to downgrade to a four star only due to the fact that there are a number of different staff members we need to deal with in Cape Town, it is difficult for us to keep continuity. In ever other way it is a superb service.
