30 day esim only worked 24 days

I bought a 30 day, 11 country 15GB esim to cover trip to Peru and Colombia (both in the 11 countries covered). Contract said esim would find the best network for cover.

Worked fine in Peru. In Colombia it would not connect to Claro (only network that is effective in rural Colombia). So useless for anyone going to more rural areas. Then after just 24 days it stopped workng all together. I had used just 5GB of the 15GB data paid for and should have had 6 more days use. Airhub customer services via their app were polite but useless saying it was a problem with their contractor and they couldn't do anything. They gave 30% refund which was not adequate given 2/3 data was unused when it stopped working and the hours (literally) trying to get assistance.

DON'T USE THIS APP.

Can't believe the cheek of this response from Airhub. Their record keeping must be non-existent. They should ask their chat AI/person - Christina

I'd attach a screenshot but Trustpilot doesn't seem to have that facility. They have sent me a discount voucher: AIRHUBTRUST5 I won't be using that as I won't be using Airhub again.

Quite good service and use to use this…

Quite good service and use to use this brand few times.

But FYI
Generally the refund only available for not working plans. The rest need depends on the issues ( for example: the war happen in some countries)

After buying a esim card it stopped working the next day. Long story short this was our mistakes but Christina J patiently check all we did and kindly ask us to make some setting changes. She kept asking if it all worked out and it did thanks to her. Give this girl a raise!

Had problems with activation of 1/2…

Had problems with activation of 1/2 lines bought. Customer service was helpful enough to provide refund or give us another line. We chose the other line. Happy with the data speeds

eSIM not using internet problem fixed!

When the eSIM activated it wasn’t going on the internet and after I couldn’t figure out the problem (always worked fine previous times) so I emailed to AirHub for help - and was pleasantly surprised to get a response within minutes. After a few back and forths, during which Kumar patiently provided info and responded to my narrow knowledge base abt ph functions, he provided a solution to the problem! Kumar was professional, helpful, listened to what I needed, and provided the solution. He made this a happy success story!

Dysfunctional

Bought 2 esims in 2 countries.
One didn't work and the other was extremely slow.

They refused to refund.

Read their ADDITIONAL T&C's! Starts from time of Purchase, not from arrival in country

Setting it up was already a hassle, but the killer was that when we arrived in the country, it didn't work and we were told that the eSim had already expired since it starts FROM DAY OF PURCHASE. Their customer service was very quick to explain that that condition was detailed in their ADDITIONAL T&C's. They offered a 30% refund, I declined preferring to warn others.

Connection randomly drops. BVI

We bought 2 e sims for the British Virgin Islands. No issues with setting up and activation. However once we started using the e sim it would randomly lose connection completely and we would had to turn the airplane mode on and off to get reconnected again. Happened to both phones.

In comparison our native sim from the UK didn’t drop connections like this so I suspect it’s a network quality issue with the Airhub e sims.

I am a tourist and no such experience…

I am a tourist and no such experience on eSIM. Just got a plan from Airhub and the plan is great. Unfortunately, I can‘t turn the hot point on which definitely depressed me. It is great that I got help from Christina and resolve the problem in couple conversations. She is experienced and patient. She offer a great help to me! Really appreciate!

I did have trouble with initial…

I did have trouble with initial activation for the South America esim but the support team was great and stuck with me, ultimately reissuing the QR code which then worked. The esim worked well through Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, just requiring manual selection of the provider and reboot after crossing borders.
