Great teaching and support systems
I'm half way through my CIPD course with Acacia and really enjoying it. The course is great but a lot of work and being able to manage my modules around my availability and do them online from home has made it much easier for me.
Their student hub is great, with lots of information and support, and the tutors so far have been excellent. Acacia have made everything very straight forward and I've had great customer service from everyone there I've spoken to.

My experience with Acacia was horrendous.

I recently completed my CIPD Level 5 Human Resource Management Diploma with Acacia Learning. I would definitely recommend using Acacia as I had no issues with them - in particular the Tutor Marco Van Dyk was fantastic!

Absolutely loved it
Absolutely loved it. I just completed my final module. I had to have couple of months break (personal reason) but i called the Student Support team and they helped me to arrange my classes so i liked that flexibility. Cant wait for the November event to see my tutors again! Will definitely recommend this to my HR friends. Thanks again!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE
AVOID IT AT ALL COST:
Not a smart choice for a full time worker.
Tutors dont teach in the classrooms what they expect you to write in the assignments and hence they keep on failing you.
No wonder why. They charge over 1200 GBP for re-submission of one assignment !!!
Very expensive and awful teaching quality.

Fantastic CIPD Experience
Recently completed my Level 7 Advanced Diploma with Acacia and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. Met some great tutors with fantastic knowledge and experience whose delivery was very good!
Added to the fact that they have lots and lots of friendly support team members with a devotion to following their standard procedures, great venues for classroom delivery, competitive prices and a yearly student/tutor of the year award ceremony in honour of a former tutor who passed away (which is a genuinely beautiful and thoughtful thing to do).
They are constantly innovating which encourages students to be open minded and ready to adapt to new ways of learning.
Overall, a fantastic experience!

A huge Thank you Acacia!
A huge Thank you Acacia for your support during my year of studies. Really easy to correspond, fast to respond and always keen to help. I met with inspiring tutors and the flexibility around the different ways of studying (weekends, virtual, weekdays, evenings, etc.) really helped me to plan my courses around my busy full time job' and mum's role :-)
I would highly recommend Acacia Learning to fellow students.

Incompetent student support. I left to go to another provider.
Every single interaction (without fail ) with the (ironically named) "student support" team was painful. Slow response times (unless it was relating to them chasing money out of you), incorrect information, huge errors etc. meant that even the simplest of questions or requests ended in countless back and forth emails to get what was necessary.
They told all students to purchase the wrong book for the L&D module, and refused to refund us or even admit that they were wrong (even though i had confirmation from not only CIPD specifically, but also an Acacia employee!!).
The "blended learning materials" provided by acacia are literally laughable. Copy and pasted text from random internet sites, often with spelling errors, repeated pasted paragraphs and poor english.
As you will have read in many reviews, the tutors themselves are, for the most part, knowledgeble and helpful. However the inconsistencies in lessons between tutors are huge. Given the content of the course (learning and development), you'd think more attention would be paid to creating an engaging learning environment, learning activities and tools. Quite comedy when you think about it.
I ended up abandoning my 7 module diploma with acacia 2 modules early and moving to a different provider. But true to form, during my final interaction with them when i asked for a record of the modules i'd completed with them to pass on to the new provider....they gave me a record saying i'd done 6 modules with them not 5. Wrong again.
The only saving grace of my experience was the whatsap group set up with the students (something that was independently arranged by the students themselves).

Will recommend to any student seeking a flexible way of learning.
Acacia learning is excellent and allows the student to take ownership of their own time table. The flexibility definitely makes a difference and tailors to the student's style.
The 'choose your own time table' lets you meet different tutors and students in every module and this is a positive difference as every class is different.
Although you get a different tutor with each course the assignments set are at a consistent level and are challenging in a good way. They are really designed to develop you.
I've had many tutors but Marco's teaching style is on point. His timing is good and uses a variety of lecture, group and class discussions which breaks up the day in a good way. Very well balanced. His quirkiness makes the course interesting and which makes me look forward to attend his classes. His teaching style makes us feel as though we can easily relate to and understand the subject. Well done and thank you Marco!

I studied a business administration…
I studied a business administration cert 3 course with acacia during this year. I had the best teacher in Nichollette she was so helpful and made my time very enjoyable. Acacia uses up to date equipment and the latest software. If anyone is looking to do any courses I would highly recommend Acacia.
Full marks!
I have worked with Acacia for a few years now on a wide variety of creative projects both online and in print. They are a warm and friendly team and it's always a pleasure to work with top class professionals that really care about their products and services. Full marks!
Positive experience
I've found my experience with Acacia to have been very positive. It was recommended to me by my colleague and I in turn have recommended it to others. I liked that there was flexibility around locations and delivery around the course (part-time, weekend etc.). I also found the tutors to be very knowledgeable and the study materials available to be very useful. I'm nearing the end of my Foundation Diploma and have just enrolled in Intermediate.
Thank you Acacia
I would definitely recommend Acacia Learning and actually already have as two of my colleagues are currently completing the course on the back of the value-add I gained from the course. The quality of teaching and materials provided are some of the main reasons I would recommend Acacia. The course was also enjoyable with engaging tutors and the flexibility in terms of modules and locations available was great.
Great learning experience with Acacia
Great learning experience with Acacia, thoroughly enjoyed the course and the flexible dates and locations was fantastic.
Very informative
Very informative - considerate of those who did not study the CIPD Course .
I liked he fact that there was a good mix of information vs group work and interaction.
The length of the class was also very timely and structured!
Matthew was a good teacher!
Thank you for letting me take part
Thank you for letting me take part in the taster session. I was given the option to sit back and listen or to fully take part. I decided to take part and really enjoyed it. Was made to feel welcome by the session leader and the other attendees. It gave me a real insight into how this might work for me.
Great communication
Great communication, flexible learning schedules, knowledgable tutors.
Acacia feedback
So far, so good. The admin team are very helpful. Not had any lecturers so won’t be able to comment.
No reservations in recommending Acacia
I looked at different providers but went with Acacia because it was face to face classes and they were the only people who took an interest in describing the different levels and what was right for me working in L&D. The tutors were superb - they knew their subject and made it interesting. I felt like I was working with a fellow professional not a teacher and student. If you had any problems they were happy to help. My experience of the admin staff was great again they were friendly, and went out of their way to sort things out. I have recommended Acacia to members of my Learning and Development staff team.
Very good service
Very good service, everyone at student support is very helpful and kind. Had some fantastic tutors in L&D! Only feedback is that the student portal website needs a massive overhaul as it's very user unfriendly, slow and there is way too much content a bit all over the place. Joining instructions are also way too long.
