The book is great. But UPS was an issue. They didn't come up my driveway to deliver the book. They left it down near the mailbox at the end of my long driveway. They sometimes do that when it snows, b... See more

Love this book absolutely awesome, got to buy more soon
I’m just happy for my new book
It was a fast delivery
Everything is good!
Great books, but poorly packed for shipping - not enough protection inside the packaging. The corners are bent and edges are dinged up. This has been an issue with the past few orders from Taschen and it's discouraging. Part of the appeal of having nice printed books like this is the condition, and these are getting to me in less than good condition. Please stop cheaping out on your packing materials, Taschen!
Too many emails about status and stuff, and they asked me to pick up the delivery myself which I didn’t. Products are great and well packed.
Pretty poor. Last I heard it was on its way from Denmark but no follow through since. Taking too long considering the price paid. Had a list of 20 further books we wanted to buy. Won’t happen.
In January I ordered an exquisite book of Caravaggio paintings at what is Taschen's usually high price for a gift. The book arrived severely damaged, with the spine of the book broken and the inside torn along the binding line. I asked for a new copy and provided multiple photos of the damage. Taschen then began to haggle, offering a slight discount, then a larger discount, and then ultimately a full refund. The process took weeks--I had to buy a different gift for my son--and left me very dissatisfied. If a company offers premium products at premium prices, it should stand behind its delivery quality. As things stand, I cannot recommend this brand.
I'm so happy with this purchase! The whole process was smooth and easy, the book I ordered arrived in less than a week's time, the quality is incredible, and it looks even better in person. As a huge X-Men fan, this is honestly a dream addition to my collection.
I also contacted customer support with a question unrelated to my order, and they were incredibly kind and got back to me so quickly. Great customer service, I'll definitely be coming back for more! :)
The order took a very long time to be shipped.
I bought it as a gift, but unfortunately it arrived in damaged plastic packaging.
On top of that, the order was shipped with CTT. They twice claimed that they couldn’t find the address, then didn’t answer their customer service hotline for an hour, and after that, they took another three days to deliver the package to a pickup point in a different city.
Please, I’m begging you, change your delivery company! CTT has been an absolute nightmare.

Beautiful book, disappointing packaging
The Almodóvar book itself is absolutely stunning — a beautiful edition and exactly what I expected from TASCHEN. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the packaging. For a book of this quality and price, I expected much better protection during shipping. The book arrived with several corners badly damaged, which is particularly frustrating for an item like this that is also meant to be collected and displayed.
A wonderful book, but TASCHEN really needs to improve the way these editions are packaged for delivery.

Unfortunately the corners of the book are dented. Bummer to purchase a new copy and have that.
The brown paper mailers are not sufficient to protect the books from damage in transit. The corners on the book I received were dented. This has happened before. Do better Taschen.
It is shameful that you have raised the prices of your books so dramatically.
The 45 Years editions have gone up by 5 euros, and the Biblioteca Universalis Collection now costs €24 — nine euros more than it did relatively recently. And many other prices have gone up too. Even the pocket books…! Readers are paying attention to these increases and, honestly, this pricing policy ultimately harms the publisher itself.
Greed and capitalism should also have their limits and be kept in check, especially when we are talking about books and culture.
Nevertheless, I wish you good luck.
I’m disappointed with the quality of a £125 Ferrari book I purchased from TASCHEN.
When it first arrived, there was excess/darkened glue visible on the exterior and spine. I raised this with TASCHEN at the time and accepted a partial refund in relation to that specific issue.
Several months later, while carefully looking through the book, I discovered a separate manufacturing defect: cuts/damage affecting some of the internal pages. This is a 688-page premium display book, so I don’t think it would have been reasonable to inspect every individual page in detail when the original external defect was reported.
I contacted TASCHEN again and explained that this was a separate manufacturing issue that had only just been discovered. Initially I was told that no further adjustment could be offered because I had already accepted the earlier partial refund.
After I challenged this, TASCHEN did offer to let me return the book and refund the remaining balance, which I appreciate. However, I explained that I actually want the Ferrari book and asked whether they could instead replace the defective copy, or offer a further goodwill adjustment so I could keep it. They declined and said the only option available was to return it for the remaining refund.
I appreciate that a return and refund has now been offered, but overall I’m disappointed with both the quality control and the customer service experience. For a £125 book from a publisher positioned at the premium end of the market, I expected a significantly higher standard.
