This has to be the best fence paint I have ever used, I have used various ones over the years, but this one is the best. There seems to be more oil (than others)in the product and goes on brilliantly and looks the part, will definitely buy again:)

The customer service staffs are very good, professional and knowledgeable with product. Bought 4 cans of decking stain
Bought 4 cans of decking stain. Prepared my decking. Applied 2 coats of the stain. Now after a few months it's come away from the decking and is going back to the way it was before application. It's taken me a few days with preparation, not to mention the costs. A complete waste of time and money. Did nothing like it said on the tin, rain washes it off and it's supposed to protect decking from the elements. I bought Ronseal as its supposed to be superior, Rubbish. I'm a very experienced painter and Did all the preparation work.
Update.
Ronseal got back to me, they blamed moisture in the wood for the failure. It's laughable I did all the preparations and we've had the driest summer ever, they're just 'clutching at straws' when there watery product failed.

Second time I called customer care was…
First time I called customer care was because, I received the 2 tins of black fence paint, out of their tin (plastic tins) they had tape the top of the tins and expected it to hold, the plastic bag around them helped if only to stop me opening them fully. Secondly , I started using the Fence Life Brush but the handle keeps coming off. On both occasions I contacted the customer service and was met with a not fit for purpose solutions, like ask your friends and neighbours to help. They just want photos but will not give a phone number to send them to, a photo is not always necessarily and in any case they refused to allow me to speak to the supervisor. Ronseal is NO longer a good name.

Ronseal one coat concentrate
Unable to get the paint without ordering, I tried the 1 coat concentration pouch. The paint itself is NEVER 1 coat, and it certainly doesn't do exactly what it says in the tin, however, this takes their dishonest marketing to another level. More expensive than the regular paint, the dilution is too much at 4x water. I tried at 3x and even that was too much, being too watery to brush without spillage. With the concentrate I needed 3 coats to reach the same level as one coat of the original, but still needed extra for an effective colour.
My advice: avoid at all costs. Their clearly playing on peoples environmental sensibilities. The only honest line was that the colour changed, going on green but drying transparent!

Although not the answer that I was looking for, the response to my enquiry was the following working day, Monday morning, after my email over the weekend. Unfortunately the product I was enquiring about has been discontinued and they suggested an alternative, giving advice on checking using a small test area.

Terrible don’t waste your money
Terrible don’t waste your money, recently bought a 5l diamond hard garage floor paint from b&q prepped and sealed as you would then left my garage floor to dry for nearly a week it’s been very warm so was ideal, I hoovered and then painted with two even coats I left it 12 hours per coat and left to dry and the next day it looked patchy in places but a week later I parked my car in the garage not driven so not hot tyres and the day after the paint lifted under the tyres, chips very easy too and now unsure on how to rectify this problem I’m now left with, thanks but no thanks Ronseal it definitely doesn’t do what it says on the tin!! (Update) I’ve Had a reply below saying they’ll send me an email to put the problem right and I’ve had nothing at all! Waste of time

DON'T buy the Fence protector Concentrate
Bought the Concentrate ONE COAT Fence Life "protector liquid" .... AWFUL soooooo watery it needs three coats, or less than half the water added...a truly terrible product that I'd not use if given for free ! Ronseal since got in contact a few times and though the product was not anywhere near as good as the "usual coating" their customer care was faultless. So Ive updated to a 4 star review (just ensure you buy the fully prepared item without adding water)
