I ordered some photos to be collected from Max Speilmann booth in Tesco. 16 of the 20 photos had been misprinted with lines in the picture. I contacted Max Speilmann via their online contact form... See more

Jade in your Harpurhey store is very friendly & helpful ...she knows her stuff!
I would like to take the time to leave a review for Dave, who has gone absolutely above and beyond on two separate occasions.
I recently had to fly home from my holiday in Croatia because the DVLA had lost my application form. As an HGV driver, having my licence back when I return home is extremely important to me, so the situation was incredibly stressful.
From the moment I dealt with Dave, he was incredibly empathetic, understanding and genuinely determined to help. He went out of his way to get everything sorted for me as quickly as possible, and his attitude and approach made what was a very stressful situation so much easier.
What really surprised and blew me away was that when I had to return for a second visit, Dave helped me all over again — and this time he did it completely free of charge, simply because the DVLA don’t accept digital documents. He absolutely did not have to go to that level of effort, and I sincerely hope he doesn’t get into trouble for doing so, because I felt it was important to let you know just how fantastic he is.
Dave was equally brilliant during my first visit. He is full of life, incredibly personable, approachable and genuinely helpful. You can tell that he cares about the people he is dealing with rather than simply treating them as another customer.
People are often quick to complain when something goes wrong, so I wanted to make sure I took the time to say how much I appreciated Dave’s help. He is a credit to your organisation and a fantastic asset to any team.
Please pass on my thanks to him — he was absolutely amazing.
Fantastic visit to skelmersdale store. Carly the customer representative was brilliant. She was both professional and friendly. I had really old photos with some marks on them. I explained what I would like. Carly asked me to leave the photos and to come back in 20 minutes. True to her word when I came back the photos were ready. Fabulous. She had managed to erase the majority of the marks and to sharpen up the photos. Thank you Carly. You made mine and my brother's day. He was so happy.
Honestly, I think Max Spielmann is one of the best and easiest options for photo printing in the UK, especially in London!
The whole process was incredibly simple. I went onto their website, selected the photo size I wanted, edited the pictures accordingly, chose my nearest store for collection, and within just 20 minutes, my photos were ready! 🤯
I printed 41 photos in 6x4 size for around £29, which I honestly think is a very reasonable price and probably one of the cheapest options you can find in London.
The quality was also amazing — I was genuinely very happy with how the photos turned out. ❤️
What makes it even better is that many London stores have self-service printing machines. You simply go to the store after your order is ready, enter your surname and order number, and the machine starts printing your photos. It's super quick and convenient.
They also have physical stores where you can browse and buy photo albums and other accessories, which is a nice bonus if you're putting together a photo album.
If you have more time, you can also choose home delivery. But if you're in a hurry and need your photos quickly, the 20-minute collection option is brilliant.
Overall, I absolutely loved the service and would definitely recommend Max Spielmann to anyone looking for quick, affordable and good-quality photo printing in London. 📸❤️
Quick, easy, affordable and great quality — what more could you ask for?
Just went to Maxphoto in Tesco York to printout for postage level…cost me £1.50.
It’s over the top!!

This review is long overdue. Last year, October, we had a bereavement and had an idea to produce table marker photographs of our loved one with personal photos with Bible verse captions…We had the photos downloaded on a computer with the verses attached, but for some reason when we were in the Harborne store we couldn’t get the photos to download in order to print. We literally had a few days to spare: Lauren from the Halesowen branch was at our local kingsheath branch when I rang to ask advice about downloading the photos as there didn’t seem to be any way of getting over the hurdle of it just not downloading. She was SO SO helpful, very patient and very much customer supportive. I could tell she was busy in the branch but she wasn’t flustered or anything like that. She took my query in her stride and it was her willingness to help that meant a lot to us. She said if we needed more assistance she said she’d be at the Dudley store next day but that Halesowen is her actual branch. Eventually, our family managed to organise the photographs and print them out at the Harborne store…it was a tremendous tribute to our loved one!! I’ve never met this lovely lady, but her assistance was worth its weight in gold. Thank you Lauren, our family truly appreciated your help and apologies it’s taken so long to put it into writing. I hope your managers / Mr Simpson sees this too.

We needed quite a lot of different sized photographs for various frames and the lady working in Max Spielmann Tesco Horwich was absolutely brilliant. She sorted out all our requirements, whilst still attending to other customers and was so helpful and knowledgeable too. Customer service at its best!

Superb service for passport renewal. Keidi was efficient, friendly and extremely pleasant. She guided me through the process painlessly and only took a few minutes. I would thoroughly recommend this service when applying for a new passport. Thank you so much Keidi.

Very disappointed with this company, bought a present nearly 2 weeks ahead of a birthday and simply didn't arrive, contacted customer service and been given a tracking number. As it didn't arrive in time asked for a cancellation and refund. Have a very dissapoint Ed daughter as the present she picked for her mums birthday didn't arrive. I would avoid this company by a mile. Should have read the reviews before making the purchase.

Just been to your shop in Tesco Gillingham. Sophie the sales assistant was so helpful. She was as patient, polite, professional and just a great employee. Will definitely be coming back for more photos

I went to the Timpson’s counter at ASDA in Corby on 18 July to have my passport photo taken and made it quite clear that the photo was for a German Passport. I was assured that they were able to check German passport photo requirements so went ahead. The photo however did not meet German requirements with the face beeng to small (from chin to top of head must fill 70 to 80% of the photo) so I went back on 22 July. Initially I was told that the first photo had passed “quality control” but on showing my current passport and pointing out that the first photo dos not even match their ad for UK passport another was taken free is charge. This however also failed to meet German passport requirements as my face was not central on the photo. What a waste of my money and time! To be honest why Max Spielman trains their users to take photos from the waist up to then manipulate it into a passport head-shot is beyond me!

Passport photos bear an excellent likeness, machines are very easy to use.

Is it normal for a shop employee to conduct business OUTSIDE the shop? Because that's what happened to me today. I approached the bearded man who works at the Scarborough branch of Max Spielmann. He'd just finished sweeping the pavement outside. I asked about a tiny memory-card with adaptor that I'd bought from this same shop several days ago. But instead of courteously inviting me inside the shop, he removed the memory-card from the camera outside the premises, told me the micro-card needed to be inserted inside the adaptor, but made no attempt to do this for me, instead, swinging round to speak to a woman who had some question to ask. It almost seemed as if he was desperate to end our conversation as quickly as possible. So I was left on the pavement outside the shop, struggling to insert a memory-chip about the size of a little finger nail into the adaptor.
Is this man autistic? Does he have a problem with male customers? Or is he just just downright pig-ignorant?
I shall not be buying any more camera products from this shop in future after encountering such unnecessary rudeness from its member of staff.

1/5 Stars – Rushed, rude service and zero quality care at the Bury branch. I had a deeply frustrating experience getting my photos taken here. The staff member was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of greeting me or letting me settle into the chair, he just sat me down and immediately started taking photos without saying a word. A simple 'how are you?' or a moment to make sure I was ready would have made all the difference. Because I wasn't even given a second to settle, the final photos looked rushed and awful. Total lack of basic customer service and care. I won't be back.

Rude, un-cooperative and appalling service. When me and my wife visited to get a passport photo and the staff member Diana at Poole Tower Park didn't want to help at all, kept making excuses why she couldn't serve us and why she needed to stop helping as soon as possible. She then was back chatting why the photo was satisfactory even though it clearly wasn't. I have filed a formal complaint from the sheer disrespect and lack of help we received.

We wanted some photos that were on a phone cropping and printed. The lady who helped was marvellous, helpful and patient. One of the photos was entered in the hives and honey section of the Yorkshire show. The photograph took first prize for its category and reserve champion overall. Amy in the Huddersfield store was superb
