Goods fine but courier not great.
Goods were as described and dispatched very promptly.
Fedex let the experience down as their tracker said the delivery would be on the Friday and would need a signature but it failed to arrive as they sent out on the wrong route. No contact to say it wouldnt be coming so I had to stay in al day.
Then indicated ‘before 8pm’ on the Monday so I had to stay in all day again with tracking lacking detail to indicate progress or am/pm time slot.
So delivery was pretty annoying especially as no signature was actually asked for when it arrived and no apology for the mix up.
8pm delivery window would be challenging for most businesses.

My order arrived badly damaged
My order arrived badly damaged. The black plastic frame was cracked, broken and separated from the metal section in several places, making the item completely unusable and impossible to install.
I immediately contacted UK Build Supplies and provided several clear photographs showing the damage. I requested a full refund, including the delivery charge, and asked them to collect the damaged item at no cost to me.
This caused a serious and unnecessary delay to the building work at my property. I am extremely disappointed that such a badly damaged item was delivered.

Bad quality or Damaged during delivery
The product was cracked in multiple places. It appeared it had had a rough journey whilst being delivered as the packaging was ripped. There was no padding in the packaging to accommodate delivery movement so this didn’t help. Also one of the threads in which one of the bolts for the ladder seems to have been forced into place as the surrounding timber was damaged and when I tried to remove the bolt, the thread also kept twisting in the timber. Also it states both on the website and on the packaging that the size is 1200mmx600mm however after measuring it, it turned out to be 1180mmx582mm. It was a good thing I double checked it before I started the work! Over all, the product is fine however I probably wouldn’t order it again.
