Booking was easy

Booking was easy. I nevertheless made an error entering my car registration. I drew it to FHR's attention and they corrected it without fuss within the timescale they stated.

Lounge Booking was made online

Lounge Booking was made online, when we arrived we were told it was subject to availability and had to wait 20minutes yo be allowed access. This wasnot made clear when making the booking.
Lounge was overfull, difficult to even get a seat, was advised by the lounge to book direct in future.

Car park amendment

I informed FHR that our flight had been brought forward and asked if they could amend our entry time. The company replied within 12 hours with a new time slot for us
Thank you

We use FHR all the time for airport parking and always get very competitive prices and excellent customer service. Recently had to change the car on my booking and this was dealt with promptly and received a confirmation email.

After around 20 years as customers, we won't use FHR again

We have booked airport parking through FHR for approximately 20 years, so it is genuinely disappointing that their handling of one serious complaint has brought that relationship to an end.

We booked a Gatwick North Terminal Meet & Greet service through FHR with Easy Parking Ltd. On our return at around midnight with our two children, Easy Parking failed to return our vehicle. Worse, their driver showed us paperwork indicating our car had already been collected by somebody else.

We hadn't collected it.

After repeated unanswered calls and promises of callbacks that never came, we eventually had to leave Gatwick by taxi with two extremely distressed children, still without satisfactory confirmation of where our car actually was. It wasn't returned to us until approximately 4:30pm the following day.

Easy Parking subsequently admitted that its staff had mistakenly treated our live booking as cancelled. They agreed to refund the booking and reimburse our £88 taxi fare.

Our disappointment with FHR is about what happened next.

As the booking agent through whom we'd been arranging airport parking for around two decades, we expected FHR to take a serious interest in what had happened with one of the operators they offer to their customers.

Instead, their response felt largely like passing messages backwards and forwards between ourselves and Easy Parking. Our request for £250 compensation was dismissed, but more importantly, we received no reassurance that FHR would investigate such a serious failure or even consider whether Easy Parking remains an appropriate operator for them to represent.

We weren't expecting FHR automatically to agree with everything we asked for. We simply expected a company we'd trusted for around 20 years to demonstrate that an incident involving a family being left at Gatwick at midnight, being told their car had already been collected by somebody else, and not receiving it until the following afternoon was something they took seriously.

Their most recent response was particularly disappointing. Emails we had addressed directly to Easy Parking, with FHR merely copied in, were answered by FHR, including a suggestion that perhaps we hadn't supplied our bank details directly to the operator. Those details were plainly contained in the email chain.

Mistakes by third-party suppliers happen. How a booking agent responds when one of its suppliers fails a longstanding customer is what matters.

After approximately 20 years of using FHR, we expected considerably better support and some indication that our experience would prompt scrutiny of the operator concerned.

We received neither.

Sadly, after around two decades as loyal customers, we won't be booking through FHR again.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful . Late to pick up the car and very late to return it. It’s not what you need at the beginning or end of your holiday !

Not a great end to our holiday

Our parking experience was pretty terrible. We booked through FHR because we thought it was a reputable company and that they would have vetted their suppliers. But 'Easy Parking' at Gatwick caused us a lot of stress. The drop-off worked okay but when we arrived back after midnight, despite promising to return our car to us within 20 minutes we were still waiting over two hours later. The family before us who were using the same company gave up and went home without their car. We did eventually get our car back but it meant we were were pretty much up all night having had a really distressing end to the holiday.

Drop off was fine

Drop off was fine. But collecting the car back at Bristol Airport was an absolute joke. Told they would be 15 mins, then another 10, then another 10, then they stopped taking my calls. Absolute joke of a service. Never use these guys. They say if it's too good to be true, it usually is. I went for a cheaper option with these guys. Usually park in the Silver car park operated by the airport. I wish i had done that again. Waiting for an hour after a long flight with kids was not something i want to do again. Avoid these cowboys.

Do not bother

Unclear instructions of parking procedure. Impossible to understand operatives. Car was not ready upon our return, so we stood in torrential rain for 10 minutes.

Car stored in a field and returned 30% less charge.

Update. The company has issued a full refund and stated they no longer work with the 3rd party provider I encountered so hopefully this doesn't occur to anyone else. The first party company handled this really well and i couldn't be happier with their communication and understanding.

Car stored in a field, not a car park

Booked "Bristol Save Meet & Greet" through FHR for 5 days, 28 July to 1 August 2026.

I drive a Tesla, so I have a complete timestamped log of everywhere my car went while it was in their custody. Here is what actually happened to it.

It was not taken to a secure airport car park. It was driven to a pub car park and left there for around half a day. It was then driven to a field in Banwell, where it sat for my entire holiday. Shortly before I landed it was driven back to the pub car park.

I handed the car over with 49% battery. I got it back with 20%. A lot of driving that nobody has explained nor did I expect.

FHR's own Bristol Airport parking page states that all Bristol car parks they offer are operated by the airport and hold the Park Mark award for safer parking. Mine was in a field.

The return was just as poor. I called on landing and again after baggage reclaim, exactly as instructed, and was told 30 to 45 minutes. I then stood at the collection point for another 25 minutes on top of that. I called the office repeatedly and was told every single time that the car was "5 to 7 minutes away" and on its way. My app showed it stationary throughout. I was outside in a car park after midnight with a six-year-old and a four-year-old, being told things that were not true. The operator said the car is parked "10 minutes away and will be with me in 5-7 minutes"....

On cost: the advertised price was £56. There is then a further £17 in airport levy charges (£8.50 each way) payable in person. That only appeared in my confirmation after I had already paid, so the price I compared against other providers was not the real price.

£73 in total to have my car driven a substantial distance, kept in a field, and handed back late with a flat battery while my children waited in the dark which less to a 30 minute charging session to make it home at 1:30 am.

Avoid. Pay slightly more and book directly with the airport, where your car stays where you left it. Hell it would be cheaper to just pay the standard long stay car park price.

Unreal and yes. A complaint was filed.
