As a seller, have gone through great pains to represent what i am selling. Looks like Ebay could care less. They abandon sellers, require refunds without hesitation, unjustly hold funds. Help and contact is nonexistent with ai go-round. Absolute atrocious behavior by ebay. On the other end buyers are lured by scammers and Ebay leaves them for a buyer trap. Need I say more.

since when customer service call have been deleted it is not possible to solve a problem. Continuous continuous exchange of assistants and unlimited waiting time to not obtain a concrete answer. It has become a shitty system

Bought a v-belt from tradesupplies2472013 as listed on the eBay site. Supplier sent the wrong belt and said the couldn't find the order number. Have now contacted eBay several times and not received a reply or return advise.
eBay used to reply quickly and correct problems. Not anymore, it seems.

I had planned to sell 3D printed Pokemon goods, and eBay's automated detection wrongfully removed my listings, claiming that my items were counterfeit despite the fact that they are listed at 3D printed items. eBay has threatened to hide my listings from buyers' view for several false positive flags. eBay claims that sellers can sells handmade goods, and 3D printed items fall under this category, but to flag something that is purely fanart is just wrong.
eBay, do better.

I was a dedicated Ebay seller since 2013 that ended in 2025 when this scammer bought my PS3 mint original with 2 original controllers this scammer opened a return Ebay accepted it and he sent me back an item that was not mine he kept the original controllers and power cords Ebay did nothing but allow this abuse I closed shop and deleted Ebay I wait 6 mos I try again and again Ebay allows scammers I document and photograph everything Ebay does not care Forced returns no matter what. Ebay once again has not changed and is not Seller friendly Ebay is Scammer friendly also I sold 90 worth of items math is not matching only got 30 dollars and now Ebay says I owe them 20 dollars with Ebay you lose your time, money and your items better to donate and get the tax firm instead of losing out totally with this Scam site. PEOPLE WE DESERVE BETTER We have the power STOP SELLING and BUYING on this platform Make Ebay care if we stand up we CAN put them out of business IF We Stop Selling on this platform they are GONE We can Unite and Get This Done

Don't trust ordering anything from eBay. They will just screw you over and lie about it to get away with it. They won't even refund people for the items that they falsely claim that they even delivered to you. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks.

Magic the Gathering fakes are being sold in large quantities. Justin Lane from Iowa City, Iowa is one of the biggest culprits. They currently operate under the name of reddoorcollectibles but change their name freuqently. Ironcladcollectibles was their previous name. Sellers with proven $10,000 sales a month of fake cards are allowed to remain on the platform and continue selling. I've reported them as much as I can, Ebay does nothing. They're actually promoting the scammers. If you see a card price that is too good to be true on Ebay be very cautious and check for authenticity.

Customer service is the worst I am supposedly a valued seller - yet they have taken funds from me and given then to buyers who didn't buy anything and I am told I am out of luck. They don't listen - don't care BEWARE BEWARE. It is supposedly a trust worthy site - not so

Some of the sellers think that the item that they have for sale is made of gold . I have sold on here and listed my items reasonable because I wanted to get rid of it . Just because it's old or should I say vintage doesn't mean it's worth big money . If you want to actually sell, then I would suggest you lower your prices. And some of the shipping fees are way up there too. I found a set of flatware for $6.99 at the thrift store the only thing that I actually need is the forks . So since they do not want to lower prices I will continue to look else ware . So when you don't sell you will end up donating. Good Luck

One of the items I bought never showed up, and the tracking number stopped updating entirely. Customer support was useless when I tried to open a claim, just giving me automated replies. Complete waste of time.

It was one of the leading online portal a few years ago. Now, I rarely use.

What happened was simple, you cannot find what you are looking for, every item now has £1 sample so it is not possible to find budget friendly decent item .

Search anything, £1 and when you click the actual item is £20? Why are you allowing sellers to cheat to get to the top. Why dont you let them only group the same items, as an example: I look for a electric screw driver but the sellers put a small screw for 10P starting price and actual electric screw driver is £50 not acceptable.

So we are buying now from others very limited ebaying these days.

Something very suspicious with eBay. I purchased an item which delivered directly to me from Amazon. I even got the email from Amazon saying my item had been delivered. I left neutral feedback for the seller as I thought it wasn’t right for them to give out my details to a 3rd party. Coincidentally I started receiving scamming and marketing phone calls and emails which I haven’t had for years.
My feedback did not appear so I contacted eBay to ask why hasn’t my feedback been posted and why are they turning a blind eye to a seller using Amazon.
Surprise surprise no reply.
It will be my last shop on eBay.

Furious that after I set the postage (size of parcel and cost) that the buyer was able to change it and then EBay took the extra money incurred from my account. Why are buyers able to do this without permission? This meant I made no money on the sale at all. Furious. Thanks EBay. In fact taking into consideration petrol to go to Post Office, packing materials. I made a loss. Buyers pays, that’s the deal. You’ve no right to take money from ME!

When I complained to EBay they said tough.

I had a few good experiences for a while and since its such a big company i developed a sense of total trust and safety like its a proper shop with rules and guarantee and nothing can go wrong. That was silly of me. I bought an expensive item and needed to pay tax on it. DHL handled the package really badly. I sent the documents very quickly there was no update. DHL was blaming customs. Ebay was asking to wait and its in customs blabla. I sent screenshots of my emails proving that i provided all the necessary info and was asking to at least retain the money because for me it was obvious that things were going wrong and out of my hands. Ebay first kept prolonging their decisions getting it closer to end of guarantee period. I called i emailed i pleaded. They eventually replied that the case was in my favor but i need to wait. Then that it was closed in favor of seller and since they close it theres no way back. I have to try to deal with seller privately. Now seller. So according to dhl they send it back but they put a new tracking number. And for security reasons they dont give me that number. Only the sender . So i have to ask sender. Guess what sender says? That he has nothing. What a joke.
And apart from that ebay deleted my negative feedback.
So thats how some not very honest sellers have 99% positive and you trust them. But maybe their real feedback is much less. But since they sell a lot of expensive stuff therefore make a lot of money for ebay, ebay protects them and covers their scam.
All ebay have left me with is to go to customer rights court in Spain.

eBay hits the low. After 22 years experience of selling on this platform im thinking of closing all my accounts. They keep kicking off my listings ( never had any issues for years ) just because lipstick on the picture is wide open and not sealed , so system recognised this item as - used . I have contacted these MORONS numerous times and sent so many appeals, explaining that all these pictures are for buyers to see the actual item, how it looks like, what they ll receive, i do not sell used, not sealed items, EVER. Very frustrated and extremely disappointed. eBay today is AWFUL.

Had a product from sinoautoparts.
It was damaged during delivery the seller named above play the game jumping through all kinds of hoops with no results.
Finally had to do a dispute with my credit card company because eBay wouldn't do anything.
eBay's guarantee is a scam.
Credit card company has given a credit and now going after the seller.

I HAD high faith when it comes to shopping on EBay, since I have been a member back in 2006. The biggest purchases I made on EBay were three separate cars. That faith was RECENTLY SHATTERED WHEN EBay failed to protect me as a buyer. Ebay made me pay for something that I have never received. The tracking number provided for me wasn’t even intended for me. I had confirmed with FedEx, and I was told that shipping name and address are not even mine. As a result, I was not allowed to file for a claim for a lost package. Ebay rejected my appeal, and made a final decision that I will be chargeD for the item because the tracking shows it was delivered. Thanks EBay for helping me realize that you are not the same anymore!
