Ebay simple delivery is not fit for purpose , ebay forces sellers to use their delivery system , issues
1- its expensive if i booked myself on royal mail it would have cost £12.30 ebay simple delivery£21.20
2-couriers offered are limited it doesnt offer dpd who take large parcels and weight
3 restricted to parcels less than 61cm and 20kg
4-if you sell an item ebay doesnt provide sellers address - have to buy ebay lable
5 use other selling platforms , ebay are not helpful to sellers

Had my campervan on here for 6 weeks and not one enquiry. Chose to advertise on another marketplace instead and sold instantly. Waste of time and money is eBay

Their protection guarantee isn't worth anything. I received a faulty product. No refund, ebay didn't help. When I argued that they were ripping me off they just hung up on me. I will never use ebay again in my life.

For the second time I was scammed by an ebay uk affiliate account which took my money and in the first instance; sent a broken item, then ignored my request for a replacement or refund. In the second instance, the item simply did not arrive. ebay uk has a clever system in which it appears to guarantee refunds but in attempting to do that or to complain about being scammed; you are sent into a circular system in which you go round and round without being able to actually contact anyone who will help. I will be claiming my money back via my credit card and vow NEVER to buy Anything off ebay again. I have had an ebay account for about 20 years and their customer service and money back guarantee has itself become a scam.

Ebay getting worse and more greedy with it free listing but have to pay high for ads and vat upon postage.
Recently bought counterfeit items that am sending back but on reporting it - Received a message from support that AI dealt with report and disagreed
Clearly counterfeit items that l had verified and tested.
Used Ebay since 2010 and no progress they have made in supporting thier sellers or buyers

I tried logging in today on a new device and was greeted with a message saying verify your identity i am amazed with such useless pathetic hassle just to log in.
No passport no driving license only a bank card so forced out of my account
I don't want credit I just want to log in

I've had problem with a seller they wont help till 3 weeks after seller was saying refund but changed mind . Ebay has been seen removing truthful feedbacks too one of mine removed for telling truth I no longer trust ebay its gone bad unsafe everyone from china when says uk when u report they dont do nothing they stick up seller it feels not buyers . I miss the old ebay it was truthful I no longer reccomend ebay

completely useless company that has lost it's way! since they've been using Whistl as their sorting agent their delivery times have become way too slow waiting days or even weeks to receive items that are meant to be next day or 2-3 day delivery times and they have become alot more difficult and frustrating to deal with. in future I will be looking for other places to buy and will avoid anywhere that deals with them or Whistl

EBay are true idiots and love taking people’s money. If you end a listing because cannot find an item or something has gone wrong then still charge you. They look for ways so they can receive the money. Some dodgy idiots.

eBay has completely lost its roots as a casual marketplace and forces unnecessary, corporate stress onto regular people. The platform reduces long-term seller loyalty down to a rigid grid of automated metrics and aggressive warnings over minor delays. Rating everyday individuals on commercial dispatch speeds and response times is ridiculous. It treats casual private sellers like commercial warehouses instead of human beings.

I am a regular and long-standing eBay UK customer as a buyer However, I have occasionally experienced issues with sellers, and unfortunately, my current situation has become very stressful and concerning.
I have an unresolved issue with a seller regarding a Hoover that I purchased in April. This matter has now been ongoing for over a month, and despite giving the seller sufficient time to resolve the problem, they have failed to do so.
What is particularly disappointing is that, once the return time frame has passed, there appears to be no effective way to contact eBay customer support when a seller has failed to resolve an issue !! As a loyal and regular customer, I find this extremely frustrating and worrying.
I feel that eBay should provide support and protection for long-standing customers from scammers particularly when a seller has failed to resolve a genuine problem.

Fake Enamel Signs by 410Dave. Top Rated Crook.
Do you collect genuine vintage signs whether they're enamel or porcelain? Did you know you can buy many signs on eBay some of which are fake? Have you paid a lot of money for a sign you thought was antique/old only to find out its a fake? Are you unsure if it's real or fake? Let me introduce you to UK eBay seller 410dave who sells many fake enamel signs but passes them off as genuine/vintage/of the advertised era.

I've been following this fraudster since I received one of his fake signs. I am the not so proud owner of a fake Coca Cola sign. 410Dave likes to pretend his signs are vintage/used as if they've had a life attached to a wall for many decades before he came along and rescued them/it. I've never known anybody to have so much luck finding so many signs in such great condition.

The amazing thing about these signs is that despite being made by different manufacturers at different times for different companies they share so many similarities:

1, The colors are all still vibrant. The reds and blues show no signs of fading. Miracle paint?
2, The wear pattern is caused by sanding not the elements.
3, Spelling mistakes.
4, The reverse of the signs bear the same strange marks as if they've been cut from the same piece of donor metal. Look for the 2 parallel lines and the same aging marks.
5, The main body of the sign is devoid of wear?
6, That one person could find so many signs of the same type in the same condition!?!
7, Currently he is selling an American Coke sign and an RAC sign that both have the same marks back and front. How could that be?!

In short if you have bought one of these signs believing it to be old you have been conned. They're new, made in large batches and sold at motor fairs and yard sales around the UK. I've even seen them on my travels thru France although they're not sold as genuine and are a fraction of the cost.

To sum up 410Dave has his name, address and contact details on eBay. Just scroll down to the bottom of the listing. Contact him for a refund. He currently has many for sale and sold. If you have bought one you have been ripped off.

Here are some of the numbers for the fake signs for sale which can be researched. Note the similar marks! Fake BP Racing Sign = 397281040197 and Fake Coke sign = 376495654671, both now sold to new victims. There are more and they're all described as vintage. Just cut and paste the number into the search box on ebay and check current and sold. Many more fake signs in the sold section.

410Dave does like his illegal pictures and your cash.

I see so many poor reviews of ebay customer service, I actually have never experienced a bad service from ebay. The issues I have had are sellers sending me broken items or items that never turned up after paying. They have always empathised with me and resolved my problems. 2 ebay staff members I can 100% highly reccommend are Daniela and Talon who I highly rate.

When item was received it was faulty.
Seller sent return label for replacement / refund. Have sent the item back. No refund or replacement received. Seller now ignores me. Ebay won't help with a refund.There gaurantee is total rubbish and I won't be buying from them again

I have had two legitimate complaints about EBay, unfortunately they haven’t had the courtesy to respond to either. Hence my score of 1 star.

Absolutely fed up with eBay. I’ve been a loyal eBay member for years and regularly use the platform, yet they’ve decided to hold my money for 8 days following a verification check. The item was delivered yesterday and the buyer has confirmed receipt, but eBay still refuses to release my funds until 14/09. Customer service basically told me there’s nothing they can do and I just have to wait. What an awful way to treat long-standing sellers. I’m seriously disappointed and will be reconsidering whether I continue using eBay.

eBay treats humans as idiots, just repeating "I don't understand". The infantile AI is unfit for purpose. Computers using inaccurate algorithms for lost deliveries just delay lawful refunds. The contract is between eBay and the customer, not the buyer and the Post Office.
