look out Ferrys are leaving 30 mins underway before the timetable sailing time of 8.45 am
Thank you for your email. On the way back in the docks 7 at Calais with Irish Ferries, we were booked on the 8.45 am we were all up at 5 am for this Ferry.
The Warricks was on time; through the checks, with 45 min to find Dock 7. The notices are not good for finding Irish Ferries, and it was Miles with a 14-year-old.
Did you know that when the car parking number lines are empty, the shop and close the door and gets under way 30 mins before the timetable sailing time of 8.45 am
I was at the start of the ramp 8.20 am when the staff stopped me from going up to the ship. I had a word with the staff at Dock 7. and its reported the captain of the ship can do this to run safety checks. But the doors closed, and the ship /move off. We had 2H .30 mins at Dock 7, which only has the min in Facilities .The time on your Ticket was 8.45 am, which is the time we were working from 5 am on Sun 30/08/28 and this time is not the ship leaving time is 30 mins before the timetable sailing time .
This Next Ship Sailing did the same: 30 mins before the timetable, the ship moves off, leaving Dock 7 at Calais. We make several Channel crossings each year and now use AFerry for every booking. They just make it so easy to check times and prices, book and pay.

I always use aferry to book my ferry tickets and have used them over the last 8 years. I find the whole process quick and simple, from searching ferries, saving quotes to the booking process and communication throughout. Then there is the added bonus of getting tickets cheaper.
