Ibis Budget Hotel Narbonne - Best Hotel in Narbonne
I have stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel Narbonne many times and is my default Hotel for staying in Narbonne Jonathan and the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating arriving early or late room is always ready with a smile.
Beware of car parking charges.
I recently had an overnight stay at the Ibis Budget Hotel at Leicester North.
After my stay I initially left a positive review because the hotel was perfectly adequate for my needs.
Unfortunately I have since received a Parking Charge Notice (£100.00) for using the on-site car park.
It was late in the evening when I checked in at the hotel but the receptionist did not mention anything at all about car parking charges and nor did the receptionist when I checked out.
I realise that I should have read the small print when booking, but I do believe that check-in staff should explain the car parking situation on arrival and departure.
I think this is very remiss and I will not be using this hotel again.
Very disappointed at the hotel and Accor standards
I trusted Accor brand and booked 3 days staying in Novotel Hotel Blois France.
Note only I am very disappointed at this hotel, but also at Accor's low standards.
Firstly, we were given the room 3 hours late and we waited in the lobby for 3 hours. This is breach of contract; secondly, the receptionist couldn’t speak English and mischarged additional fee. It wasted us lots of time to sort out as there was only one receptionist with long queue all the time. If it’s a decent hotel or brand, they should could have automatically offer me partial refund, or complementary breakfast.
I provided feedback to Accor and formally complained, they didn’t address at all.
PS: This hotel location is inconvenient, not close to train station or city center, and yet price is high, offer very low value.
This is the stupidest hotel chain
This is the stupidest hotel chain. They remove your points without any warning and somehow they believe it’s ok to steal your points if you don’t use them!
Lovely hotel and good value.
Lovely hotel and good value.
Problem is making payments on the app
It's a nightmare. Always declining payments due to 'technical problems' etc etc. At least 7 attempts to make my most recent booking. Call centre staff friendly.
If they are going to offer member rates, then please make it easier to book.
Terrible complaint handling despite…
Terrible complaint handling despite being an ALL Platinum and Accor+ Explorer member
I am extremely disappointed with the way ALL Accor / Accor+ Member Care handled my complaint regarding my stay at Grand Mercure Da Nang.
I am an ALL Platinum member and an ALL Accor+ Explorer member, and I reported serious issues during my stay, including significant noise disturbance and very poor internet connectivity, which affected both my rest and my ability to work.
I complained to the hotel more than once during the stay, but the problems were not properly resolved.
Afterwards, I contacted the hotel, Accor Customer Care, and ALL Accor+ Member Care several times. What I received were repeated apologies and generic responses saying that my concerns had been forwarded for review.
Eventually, I was informed that the hotel had reviewed the complaint itself, decided that no compensation or reimbursement of the Reward Points used for the stay would be provided, and considered the case closed.
What is most disappointing is that Accor+ Member Care simply accepted the hotel’s position and refused to provide any further resolution.
I do not consider this a proper or independent review.
As a loyal customer with Platinum status and a paid Accor+ Explorer membership, I expected a much higher standard of customer service and complaint handling.
The biggest issue is no longer only the bad hotel experience. It is the way Accor handled the complaint afterwards: many apologies, many emails, but no real solution and no accountability.
I have now asked for the case to be escalated to a senior Customer Care or Loyalty manager for an independent review.
This experience is making me seriously reconsider whether it is worth continuing both my Accor+ membership and my wife’s membership.
Loyalty should work both ways. When a loyal customer has a genuine problem, the response should be more than simply allowing the hotel involved to declare the matter closed.
I expected much better from an international hospitality group such as Accor.
ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES
ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES. JOKE OF A 'COMPANY'. DON'T EVER BOOK AN ACCOR HOTEL. They will take your money and run!
On the 02/01/2026 i booked 7 nights hotel accomodation through the Trivago Deals platform with Swissotel in Makkah.
31/03/2026 i emailed them to cancel my hotel booking due to my flight being cancelled (proof of cancellation was submitted to them)
On the Swissotel website, there was and still is a clear statement that any customer hotel reservations impacted by flight cancellations due to the ongoing conflict in the middle east would receive a full refund regardless of how the booking was originally made, i.e. either direct with the hotel or through a third party. Any booking made through third parties would be refunded via the third party.
To date all i have received is excuse after excuse, and no refund received from the hotel. On multiple occasions i have requested a reason why i have not received a refund yet, and no response provided. I submitted a chargeback via Amex but this was rejected by Trivago Deals, with no explanation whatsoever given. I contacted Swissotel and they advised Trivago Deals they won't refund because it was non cancellable, despite Accors policy.
On the 26/01/2026 we also made a further reservation to extend our stay direct with the hotel.
31/03/2026 i submitted the same cancellation and refund request to the hotel as i had done with trivago deals.
09/04/2026 - full refund received from the hotel
I have been back and forth for the last 3 months, chasing every avenue but the same generic message is sent by incompetent staff who simply regurgitate but fail to understand. I have £1,200 at stake here and I WILL NOT BE LETTING THIS GO. I will speak to my legal representatives and take this as high as I need to. Rest assured, I will get my money back, on way or another.
Difficult to get refund
I have stayed at IBIS Budget hotel Facamp, France in July month. I booked my reservation through AGODA.com; while reserving my stay at AGODA website, I made complete payment but at hotel reception they asked me to pay for one night. When I showed them that I have made 100% payment in advance, hotel reception informed me that additional payment will be refunded back to my credit card from where the payment was made. But till date I am waiting for refund. Hotel Reception is not answering my calls not replying to my email.
It has been good experience staying in…
It has been good experience staying in Novotel hotel world trade centre, Dubai. It's location, ambiance is really a plus point. Their staff and their services are commendable...especially the reservation staff is much friendly, supportive and flexible....I would rather name Mr. Nadeem whose guidlines and support really motivated me more to stay in Novotel WTC, Dubai...
This is about Ibis Stopera in…
This is about Ibis Stopera in Amsterdam, its okay hotel but in the season its expensive if you compar what you get. Breakfast is nice but it could have more variety. Location is good but internet was super slow. rooms are very tiny and bathroom is not very comfortable.
The loyalty scheme is a total con
The loyalty scheme is a total con. You don't get rewards they state you will. Full of excuses and don't even reply to messages.
Do not use. Zero customer service.
Cambridge North air con non existent…
Cambridge North air con non existent and then no response from email told to complain to and no one answers the company complaints line
Terrible customer service
As context, I am an ALL Platinum member who has had to deal with Accor customer services on two occasions. On both occasions, I was very unhappy with the service received by phone, whatsapp, and email.
On the first occasion, I asked for help to add promotional nights to my account, that failed to be added within 10 days, despite me meeting all terms and conditions. I tried to resolve the issue through whatsapp but was left frustrated as the customer service agents did not understand the issue, despite my multiple attempts to explain it in different ways. I then tried to email my issue, and I was incorrectly told (by a "Shaunagh", a senior guest experience specialist) that I did not qualify for the promotional nights. Since this was wrong information, I questioned it, but I received no replies to my further emails. Two weeks later, I was granted the promotional nights on my account (this resulted in me missing out on Platinum benefits on three stays).
The second time was due to a bug on the Accor app that resulted in me being charged twice for a room, despite me not having any reservations on my account. I tried to resolve this by email, but my email was ignored. I then called the customer services by phone to explain the issue, however, the agent ("Rudolph Louie", a customer services agent) said there were two non-refundable reservations under my name and these reservations were cancelled an hour later, so I would be charged in full. He concluded that the issue was my fault despite being unable to provide any evidence to me that the reservation was successfully made. He did follow up with the hotel and copy me in the email as I requested, but he has not followed up by email to resolve the issue since despite me having sent two follow-up emails over the last few days.
Overall, I am very surprised that Accor treats its customers, especially those who have achieved Platinum status in this way. I would recommend prioritizing other hotel chains to gain status, such as the Marriott and Hilton, who have respect for their customers.
No recourse
I stayed at one of Accor hotels (Adagio Access Nanterre) in Paris in July 2026. The heat outside was unbearable yet the aircon in our room was not working. The hotel failed to address the issue during our stay and advised to contact the hotel email for compensation. Guess what - nobody answered. Accor corporate does not want to have anything to do with the complaints related to what happened at the hotel - they don't even have a process to submit a complaint, or have a complaint email.
The lesson learned here is that although one may think that the Accor name gives any presumption of quality, in fact you may be dealing with the third world management directly. Buyer beware
Communication nil
This company and their associated hotel the Mercure in Tunbridge Wells do not answer emails.
A simple complaint about breakfast that needs a reply. They simply aren't bothered. 4 Star ? Really?
Shockingly bad customer service
Absolutely horrifying for such a big chain with nice properties. How is it even a thing? Customer service non existent.
I booked pay on the arrival rate with free cancelation. They charged me anyway but reservation still says full amount due on arrival. No response no emails, their idiotic phone support says no, I didn't pay and it's pay on arrival. I canceled, but never got the refund. Im absolutely shocked by this, no response from them whatsoever. I end up doing dispute transaction with my bank, which I'm not a fan of.
Terrible safety issues they don’t care about.
Stayed at the Mercure Maidstone in July to perform at a local music festival. Two of our four rooms had broken showers. We reported and went off to do the festival. On our return we were told they couldn’t be fixed and we would just have to use the public showers. Unacceptable. Eventually another room was found for me but when I went to move in after midnight there was already a couple naked in bed in it. Reported it and staff shrugged it off and, despite being told the hotel was full on several occasions; another room magically appeared and I finally got my shower. After posting the story online I was told to contact Accor customer service which I did but have received zero response from them. Am now taking the story to the media as a result of their complete disinterest in what is a serious safety issue.
Ibis has everything I need!
I use Ibis every chance I get. I booked 5 nights last Oct.'25, and I love your approach to running a modest hotel. I just booked 4 nights in Paris.
You seem to provide everything a traveler needs, with a smile. Thank you.
