Bad experience

Ordered units that came damaged. Has taken over a month and a half to get anywhere regarding a refund. The only communication they have is emails and absolute joke. Will never buy from here again

Delivery time was inadequate

Delivery time was given as 6 days on order.
Was not dispatched until the 9th day.
was delivered on the 11th day
but even then the delivery email sent that day said delivery would be the day befor.
Maybe their time machine got caught in traffic..

The paint was fantastic, just poor estimations.
When I wanted more I went to the shop and got it off the shelf.

Difficult to return items & too long to refund

I purchased a water fountain & it packed up after one day, so I went online to return it, not knowing how difficult it would be,
getting past the auto bot was difficult enough & then after that the agent referred my request to the relevant departments several times,then kept coming back asking for more information & suggesting troubleshooting,& pictures,but from day one I requested a return for refund & stated the item was in it’s original packaging, it took more than seven days to finally get the parcel picked up, even then after the supplier had received it back, I had to inform you of this & ask when my refund would be issued, this took a further 2 days, in total,16 days,I find this unacceptable, but this is not the fault of the agent, quite obviously they aren’t permitted to take ownership of the problem & sort this quickly, I would be reluctant to buy from Wilko again because of this

Outdoor Lanterns

Lack of empathy - placed order for garden lanterns first delivery arrived smashed into a thousand pieces, response time was ridiculous, replacements eventually sent and again all broken , next order arrived in exactly the same state - made to feel like I was lying even though I sent photos of all the lanterns - too much hassle - and to top it all the ones that did survive are already going rusty - DONT buy - bad quality and bad service

Dear Customer Services,

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my order for a Ninja kettle, purchased on 26 May 2026. I was advised that the item would be delivered within three days; however, I have still not received my order.

According to the delivery information, the driver attended my block of flats but claimed they were unable to gain access. This is unacceptable, as there is a clear note above the buzzer with instructions on how to contact residents and gain entry. The photograph provided as proof of attempted delivery appears to have been taken from the driver's vehicle, or at best from the roadside, rather than from the entrance to the building.

What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of communication since this failed delivery attempt. I have sent several emails seeking an update on my order but have received no response whatsoever. The only communication I have received was after I requested a refund.

I have been a loyal customer for many years, which makes this experience even more frustrating and disappointing. The poor customer service and lack of communication have left me with no confidence in using your company again.

I now request that you either:

Issue a full refund immediately; or

Confirm, within 48 hours, when my order will be delivered.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response within a reasonable timeframe, I will have no option but to escalate my complaint further and consider raising the matter through the appropriate consumer channels.

Wrong item bought

I can’t in all fairness leave a review, I wanted a large tub and ended up with bucket size 12L. Should have known by price it was the wrong thing ! Looks ok but very thin.
