Very Very Poor Spam Controls

Not only are yahoo systems- maintained spam blockers terrible, but when i manually block spam it still comes through, often marked as spam by the yahoo systems. NOW I mark an email as spam and if I leave it sitting anywhere in my mail, when I go back to it, the spam designation has been REMOVED by yahoo. I read to go into settings to clean out old spam addresses because they have a space limit, which seems reasonable- but it looks like they have removed that functionality. TIME TO LEAVE

DON'T USE YAHOO! Absolute rubbish.

Yahoo have decided to change their mobile app. Not they've FAILED to make it comprehensible to somebody that hasn't used it before. It used to be simple to use, now it is overtly complicated, absolute ridiculous. Whoever decided to do this should be fired. Don't use Yahoo. Get a Gmail account. Yahoo is finished.

Blackmailed by Yahoo

After being a Yahoo Mail user for 26 years, I was horrified to suddenly receive a notification that unless I now pay a monthly fee my emails both in and out will be stopped on August 12th!
I wrote to them via “Pissed consumer” as I was unable to communicate directly with their customer service as usual..and they eventually replied confirming the blackmail if I don’t subscribe my account will be blocked…The other option was to delete 26 years of precious emails to bring my account under 15 gigabytes…I have sadly attempted to do this, losing many years of memories, but still unable to get down to under 15 gb…I am 82 years old and feel totally ripped off by them! I obviously will have to pay out of my pension to keep in communication with the outside world! Totally woeful and I feel disgraceful…

Pathetic

Pathetic. I've used Yahoo Mail as my primary e-mail address since 1998 and have watched it slowly deteriorate to the point of near uselessness.

I have spent more than 4 cumulative hours attempting to reset my password per Yahoo's ongoing insistence than I do so.

It then works for a day or so before I receive the next demand to do it all over again. Verification now requires a bewildering array of codes to both my backup e-mail address any my phone.

Looks like it's time for me to find a new primary e-mail account after 28 years.

Also, their finance page including stock portfolio management has been in constant decline and is now infuriating to use, with the majority of their finance "news" being geared towards low knowledge people.

Changing Yahoo back to Chrome or other search engine.

For those that have suffered Yahoo imposing its search engine on you, do the following:
1) Click on the 3 dots at the top right hand side of your screen;
2) Click on 'Settings';
3) Click on 'Search Engine';
4) Click on Chrome (or your search engine of choice);
5) Click on 'Set as Default'.
Problem solved.

Im not sure what happened with yahoo

Im not sure what happened with yahoo, but I have so much junk and spams in my email so much to where the actual emails I need are not coming through. As of today I will be deactivating my account and signing up with Gmail, the unwanted sex adds are enough!

Yahoo support bot is useless

Yahoo support bot is useless. I'm gonna try to move all my accounts away. I've had my account for years, but what is the purpose of having it if you implemented the 2-factor authentication they suggested and suddenly your key doesn't work? Then, to top it all, you can't get assistance when needed.
