Overall a very good experience
Although I had an issue with subscription, it was promptly resolved. Their customer service is fast, sharp and definitely accommodating. The system itself is very easy to use. While I could see a room for some improvements, it's an overall a ery good experience.

Technical Problems, But Good Follow-Up

I have been using Billy for almost a year and, overall, I have been satisfied with the platform.
Recently, I needed to reconnect some of my bank accounts. I made many attempts to do so, but remained stuck in a loop where the accounts simply would not reconnect properly.
I contacted customer support and initially received fairly generic troubleshooting advice. Eventually, I was advised to disconnect and reconnect the affected accounts. Unfortunately, that process resulted in new accounts being created instead of reconnecting to the existing ones, which left me with duplicate accounts and a significant amount of cleanup work.
As a result, I spent several hours reorganizing and reconciling my bookkeeping setup. It was a frustrating experience, and at the time I felt the issue could have been handled better from the start.
Because of that experience, I left a negative review.
Shortly afterward, however, I was contacted by the customer support manager. We had a constructive conversation about what had happened. She acknowledged that the situation should not have occurred, explained that the technical issues were being investigated, and offered assistance to help resolve the problems created by the reconnection process.
I genuinely appreciated that follow-up.
While the experience itself was disappointing, I believe it is important to recognize when a company takes feedback seriously and makes an effort to understand and resolve a problem. The conversation I had afterward gave me confidence that Billy is taking the issue seriously and working toward a solution.
I hope the underlying technical issues are resolved so that other customers do not experience the same situation, but I also want to give credit to the team for the way they handled the matter after it was escalated.

Comprehensive system and good customer service
The system is very comprehensive and once understood makes Bookkeeping very straight forward.
The customer Service is super helpful and was able to both, fix issues directly and quickly and explain the proper way of filing things. (In particular Melik, who helped me tremendously with a more complex issue)

Invoicing is also a breeze, sending customized invoices and reminders. I also like that I can send clients their own portal so they can see what they have paid to date. There are so many perks, I simply cannot name them all. As an international with a business in Denmark, I have no interest in going elsewhere for my bookkeeping needs. I ordered an annual report. Billy charges the payment upfront and their software is not ready and under development? Super unprofessional? How can you charge your customer for a product that is not ready to sell? I will check any authority to report on this.

Ok for tiny businesses
It's ok for the simples types of businesses, but once you need to do something slightly more complex you are funneled into never ending pay-for-feature.
It claims to connect you with accountants who are specialized in this software but this is a non-existent feature. Been waiting for 3 months, filled their modules several times, and nobody ever contacted me. It's just collecting personal data.
